I've now been to Washinington DC. During the Concert, I could see the American Indian Museum, "the Castle" (that's the original Smithsonian), the Washington Monument and the Merry go round on the grassy area. I noticed they let people sit up on the steps of the Capitol during the Concert.
Anyone who's gone to DC before knows about all the exhausting walking, so I must be crazy, but Bruce and I plan to go again. Whaaaaat!!!
I love this is the 20th year for them to present to us. I watch every year but I didn't know this has been going on for 20 years. I adore Gary for all his hard work especially when he visits the soldiers in Iraq. My husband didn't meet him but he did meet a couple other stars who took their time to visit the soldiers.
God Bless America, God Bless our Soldiers, regardless of their branch of military service, they are all hero's!
Commentary from Patriot Trading..."The last time Rolling Thunder roared into Washington, the president welcomed them in the White House driveway with a smile on his face and heartfelt personal greeting. This year, maybe not. "We initially got a call this year saying the president wasn't going to greet us," said Artie Muller, founder of the group that is marking its 22nd annual patriotic motorcycle ride through Washington..."
@david640 go kid, i too served in the marine corps,so he to is my brother...god bless our brother..he has both my blessings, prayer, and support.Everyone i know has the same sentiment.
Propaganda for more killing machines manufactured within the brains of America's young people. Down with all military. This is one video I will not watch.
You have it all wrong. My message was directed to the leaders of your country and by extension to all countries. I have the highest sympathy for those poor souls who were dragged into fighting someone else's war. If you believe what you wrote you are wrong. If we all stood firm everywhere in the world and refused to join the armies, no one would have had to liberate others.
Furthermore I learned to read before I started school, and for that I thank my mother and father who gave me the genetic material permitting that. And every country where English is spoken would be better off if it had been left alone without intervention from British and American colonialism and imperialism. Peace and knowledge and education for all so they can learn the truth about the world you live in. History books are not meant to decorate the shelves they rest on!
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1868)
OK brothers and sisters, lets do what the government tell us to do: lets remember all the peolpe who died on War...

It was those 'killing machines' in americans young people that helped liberate France from Nazi tyranny, Jose.
You're welcome!!

They must find it difficult....
Those who have taken authority as truth,
Rather then truth as the authority.
