  • Hi Copefarms! Tubes are 10cm lengths of plastic hose that you'd get from from a DIY store. The internal diameter is half an inch (10-12mm wide) which is fine for the Mason Bees that you see here. I have 44 tubes in this box.

    As you can see it's pretty cool to be able to get a look-in on what they are doing.

    They're not too bothered by the light or by my presence when the lid comes off.

    I will get together a little box-build instructional video together & PM you when its done. Good luck!

  • is that just a plastic tube? What size tube should it be for the mason bees to fit in them?

    Any help with making my own mason bee "hive" is much appreciated. Thanks Mike :)
