Thanks for this review, HIDETCH-san. Just wondering, @7:23 your said lance 6c might have been better, but @7:28 what if the white drops a gold at 5b instead of 5h, I can't seem to find a good way for the black to resume her attack whether or not she takes the rook at 6b.
Does women professionals, like Yauchi or Shimizu or Ishibashi, ever play male professionals like Habu, Moriuchi, or Watanabe, etc.? Because I've never seen one played, let alone games where women beat men.
Also, is it possible for women to achieve high rankings such as 9dan and move up to class A to challenge male title matches such as Meijin or Kiou, or is that not allowed?
Woman professional is not a professional player. Never have a woman became a professional 4th-dan before. So they're usually weaker than male professionals. But recently, they're becoming stronger, and starting to often beat low ranked male professionals. Sometimes they play against topflight male professionals, too. (An example is video ID: b-K6iqFwNvw)

Very nice game. Isnt it better to take the tokin with the rook at 6:13?

I don't think so because white has more opportunity to drop her rook in black's camp.

If she trades the rooks, G-7g attacking the rook would end up being a totally pointless move.
