  • yea yea ,,,,,

  • So basically you just confirmed what I said. It originated in Mobile in the states. Mobile first celebrated it around 1699 and not until 150 years later did New Orleans have their first celebration. There was no "shift" to New Orleans bc Mardi Gras is still celebrated in Mobile. And I have been told, it's far better in Mobile than New Orleans. I would know all this because I actually am in a Mardi Gras Order and ride in the parade. Just sayin.....

  • @dtuck1980

    huh

  • How Can someone even dislike dis song?

  • I recently asked my boyfriend if he's ever heard this song. if he wasn't so sweet and born and raised in texas i wouldn't have a boyfriend anymore.

  • I wish we were SUPER BOWL MAMBOing about now, down in New Orleans

  • Mardi Gras originated in Mobile....just sayin.....

  • @dtuck1980 If you knew your history you would know that Mobile was the original capitol of the new Louisiana territory. It later shifted to New Orleans and all the culture went with it. Mardi Gras originated in Europe and was brought to Louisiana with its new immigrants. Just sayin...

  • "Les se le bon temps roule" - the unofficial slogan for South Louisiana!

Actually, it's more than that. Its a way of life for us down here. We have to deal with hurricanes, poverty, political corruption, and extremely high crime and murder rates everyday, but we still know how to live life to the fullest! Ca c'est bon, cher!
