I get the impression from this video that you didn't write those articles or have ownership of the articles. That strictly goes against the TOS of Knol and will get you removed from their system. Not a great way to become top ranked, eh?

The links on knol are all "no followed" so the links won't be powerful, but likely the articles will rank highly and therefore be a good source of direct traffic.
