i visited simpson park the other day its close to wear i live lol and did you follow a trail up to it or just wandered if you followed a trail what was its name
If you park at the bottom where the gate is, start walking up the road and instead of going 180 degree to left go thru the locked horse gate and take the trail about 1/4 mile and once you get to the valley this is considered "Warrior Valley", this is the area that you will find the spies, helmet rock, grunt crack, etc... they are all very noticeable. Also if you are interested you can send me your email in a message and I can send you a couple pages from the "The Possum Guide".
