  • Great perspective of the track and of Ron's car. Well driven Will!

  • I see...I think I've seen photos of your Mono-leaf spring set-up...sweet indeed. That's a big weight handicap though with 60+lbs of ballast. I added a new secondary (meant for pick-up trucks) to the old leaf springs and it's really stiffened up the rear...barely bearable on the road. Without the ballast, did your roadster snap-oversteer because it was too stiff and too light? Thanks for the inputs!

  • Ron's roadster has a much different rear suspension than I do. He is running a panhard rod with traction bars and stock leaf springs. I'm running a very rare (in north america) set of Mono-leaf springs. 190# spring rate, 12lbs each. The downfall with my setup is that I had to add 60+lbs of lead to the trunk and run a full tank of fuel to get the car to stick. I removed 54lbs of unsprung weight from the back end, but added it all back to regain traction.

  • Awesome video Will! Thank you for sharing! :) Your roadster is faster at the corners. I think the roadster in front of you has softer rear leaf springs. Anyways, looking forward to more race videos!

  • You drove very well Will. Thanks for posting. :-)
