You have no idea how helpful this video was. I'm new at this and bought a new cue and tip tool, but had no idea what to do. Thanks for saving me the embarrassment of asking one of the guys at the pool hall. I owe you big time.
@sahilsheth Yes and no, it'll work but due to the size of snooker cue tips it may not be as effective in getting the curve fit for snooker. Snooker cue tips are smaller (9-11mm) while pool cue tips range from 12-13mm.
@SirNoobs - so what can i use to shape my cue tip ?? , i tried using sandpaper , but the finish is horrible and i think i have kinda screwed it up , plus the shape doesnt seem to be perfect !
@sahilsheth I don't know too much about snooker cues, sorry. I've seen people use files and they generally file the tip in one direction. If anything, bring it to the snooker club/cue maker/pool hall/cue store and see if someone can help you out!
Very instructional. Thank you very much. Now I can get my new pool cue ready for action.
~best wishes,

@panchothechihuaha I own one myself, it's called the Ultimate Tip Tool. It goes for around $15-$20USD.

@SirNoobs A willards scuffer is better for snooker cues as the size is more easily managed on your hand.
