try tuning your guitar you can get an electric tuner at most music stores

You probabbly dont have the string fretted compleatly and the noise you are hearing is what is known as "buzzing" you can fix this problem be either pressing the string down harder but if your fingers aren't strong enough to do that you can just buy lighter gauge strings that will be eiser to press down. OR your guitar could just be out of tune.
