ah yes, the midnight run. although for me it was 1am cause of my time zone. i never got a chance to watch regular toonami cause i work in the evening, but i'd always catch the midnight run when i got home. couldn't wait to watch gundam wing!
Man I wish I was a teenager when this show was out....I was like 6 and stayed up for DBZ at Midnight whenever it was on...followed by going to school the next morning...I wish I was 16 when this came out. Television was by far more entertaining than it is now in 2011. I can't stand the music of this generation nor can I stand the TV. I think the 90's went by to fast.
If Cartoon Network "dared" to try to show something "uncut" now in the day time, all of those soccer moms raising today's youth will all have heart-attacks.

Adult Swim was good to start out, but now they strayed away from anime and are now going for the live action shows. The reason they were made was to show uncut adult anime.
@ToyotaMKIII agreed. when adult swim started out with cowboy bebop/trigun/home movies and mission hill was when it was at its best. the shows like children's hospital and the law and order svu- mimic show are just plain awful. and the new episodes of aqua teen are just plain awful. kinda funny though how toonami started the whole adult swim phenom

Midnight Run was the best on Saturdays when they played Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Gundam 0080, and Gundam 0083. What a fuckin lineup. I have access to every anime through downloading, but I long for the days where Toonami was around. I still love anime, but back then, the excitement was something I can't describe. Yu Yu Hakusho is the best Toonami anime ever, and best anime of all time!

Midnight Run was the best on Saturdays when they played Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Gundam 0080, and Gundam 0083. What a fuckin lineup. I have access to every anime through downloading, but I long for the days where Toonami was around. I still love anime, but back then, the excitement was something I can't describe. Yu Yu Hakusho is the best Toonami anime ever, and best anime of all time!
