That Rotels surely are awesome, but I prefer Technics' SE-A1 and SU-A2 at least in their design.

Got my first pair of AMT 1B's at 17, second pairs of AMT 1D's at 39. Still have 'em both. They are still quite respectable overall and nearly perfect in the highs and mids.

Maybe it's a camera mic but the sound is flat and 2 dimensional.....the ESS Heil-air motion tweeters are good if cross-over design is good. ESS were never up to standard in bass response. The Infinity speakers?? next to it would probably sounds nicer. Also, let the RB5000 breath, i'd remove the cd cover from the vents if i were you. Cheers

rotel make bad ass amps. solid, strong, and can take way more than they are rated for. my old "50W" rotel hifi amp smoked a 150W subwoofer on 4ohms easy. their speakers kick ass too check my vids of them

Man, you do not know how jealous I am right now!!!

I am currently using a vintage Rotel RA-2030 paired up with a modern Rotel RCD-1070 CD player to power my JBL S38s.

I also have a Rotel RX-2001 stereo receiver. She is mint and sounds beautiful. So, I keep her stored in my closet!!! lol

That control amp and power amp must sound amazing.  kudos
