The animated series had monsters, and I'm a tad torn on the dragon issue. It might be interesting if there were other 'Highlanders' who weren't human. What if the Dragons had played their own game? XD

I didn't recognize/ think about the dragons the first time but unlike everyone else I'm cool with mutant/ creatures from another world dueling with Immortals.

Highlander could've been an epic franchise just like Star Wars & Indiana Jones but nope it wasted all it's potential to where I will not dare see another movie since there should've only been one.

Can you list those movies you used? I recognized House of Flying Daggers, Highlander 1 & Mutant Chronicles.

I personally think that monsters can be taken seriously. In Lord of the Rings the monsters didn't steal the show, they were obstacles for the heroes to battle. I also thought it might be interesting to have immortal monsters like dragons with their own histories, perhaps also engaged in a version of The Game.

I do agree that The Highlander series does have a lot of mature things to say about human nature :)

Awesome stuff. I always liked Highlander. I think it was implied in the movies that the immortals age up to the point where they die the first time, and then stay at that physical age.

I really like your concept also. But one thing I never understood about the immortals. Why do they stop aging at a random age? Conner stopped when he was in was in like his 30s. But Connerys character looked like he was fifty? Well anyway great trailer!

I think the whole concept of Highlander was really built from the ground up. Even the writers admitted in an interview they didn't know themselves what 'The Source' was before the fourth movie.

@ScopeStudios The Immortals age normally until they die their first death. They then revive and don't age from that point on. That's why some look older than others.

The animated series is actually pretty darn good. The acting is on par with other kid shows, but the stories are actually pretty deep, the art style is actually the most interesting in terms of locations then a lot of animated shows, and its surprisingly mature (LOTS of people die 0_0)

You should also check out the Highlander anime too! XD
