  • Someone got a new source of this video?

  • @ 4:29 my reaction: WHOA! hello :3

  • ...Waiting for a big-ass dinosaur to gulp down the submarine

  • @BESTIAdelaGUERRA David Attenborough

  • Comment removed

  • So how do the animals down there survive the water pressure? Are they not dense enough to be crushed or is it... THE EFFECT OF EVOLUTION?

  • Comment removed

  • @BESTIAdelaGUERRA no, it's Richard Attenbourgh (sp)

  • OMG!!!!! these are so beautiful fishes

  • I wonder how much these fishes have evolved

  • EEEUUUUHHHLL, very scary, i see this in my class :D

  • It's truly an alien world down there. Some of the creatures looks so menacing and scary

  • GOD FUCKING DAMMIT. I was just trying to watch a beautiful video about sea-creatures but NOOOOO they needed to include a scare-moment. Fuck that shit.

  • 4:32 it's Rigby!

  • lol, it looks like the fish at 6:14 is saying OMFG XD

  • cool

  • 5:52 cloaking systems activated!

  • don't they just looks delicious? ^^ (Burgg .. opps)

  • damn nature you scary

  • aww 8:10... poor squid

  • That little shrimp lookin' thing just got ate! Damn Ocean, you scary!

  • Me encantan estos documentales , son geniales......me ha desaparecido un amigo de mi lista y no lo encuentro, de momento......

    Impresionantes y maravillosas imágenes.

    Saludos desde Espeña, Sevilla.

  • look up F.O.O.L. - invasion

  • Over 900? closeenough.jpeg

  • I wonder how will that red prawn taste like. I wonder how will those deep sea squids and fishes taste like if I BBQ them.......Hmmmm..........

  • amazing, i would love to explore down there as well, there is so much we don't know

  • What does the scouter say about the diving depth? It's over over 900 metres?

  • Why is it called a sperm whale?

  • @TheZitler They contain a substance on their body called spermaceti. Instead of calling them "Spermaceti Whale" we just use "Sperm Whale" for short.

  • @TheZitler

The ambergris (fluid) in their digestive tract is called spermacelia. The spermacelia was sold for may years as whale oil.

  • Dudee i wuld soo fkn love to expolre down here!!:p

  • Planet Earth. Serious business.

  • And they think down there, that they are the only living beens in the world like some people think that they are only living beens in whole universe :)

  • it almost feel like its all in dark space rather than deep in ocean

    love it!!!!!

  • I was pretty disappointed when I got into my third year of my Biology degree and discovered Ctenophores, like those seen at 3:35, do not make those beautiful colors. The colors are a result of the subs lights reflecting off the organisms beating ctenes. Thumbs up if you are also saddened by this!

  • @NickNewkum well.. i am NOW...

  • @NickNewkum english plz

  • @vtec18c That is English. If you do not understand the words, may I recommend Google?

  • @NickNewkum well then again you have the species in your world not theirs so they might act or look differently in their own habitat

  • @NickNewkum i dont fuckin care they look beast

  • @uglydollsinc123 Some people care.

  • @NickNewkum they still look beast

  • @NickNewkum

    Well I am now!

  • Comment removed

  • @NickNewkum You are really stupid for thinking that... they're not like a christmass tree to make little litghts around...

  • @gabylang Hold your tongue, naive little child. There are tons of bioluminescent organisms on the planet, including a number of species of squid. Also, a fire fly is a simple example you may understand... You are an idiot.

  • @NickNewkum i know that. i'm also studying biology but there's no practical use for ctenophores be bioluminiscent, so as there is for fireflies... if you use a little logic you would realize of that

  • @gabylang Intraspecific recognition, or communication, Squid communicate using bioluminiscents. I was not always a biologist, and neither were you.

  • @gabylang my sister wants me to tell you you're far less educated than you're putting across. Now mind you, she's merely a biochemist but she "studied biology" too before she specialized. She has more education than you do, is my point.

    No offense...I'm just the messenger.

  • Responder a este vídeo... who are you calling naive? it's you who thought something that's not real

  • @NickNewkum Umadbro?

  • @NickNewkum i am also deeply sorrowed.

  • @NickNewkum all color is composed off of light reflection!

black is the absence of light so any beautiful color you see in this world like blue eyes is all possible because of the light reflection in the eye

  • @kevingp12 Yes indeed, but I simply mean that these creatures do not contain bioluminescent pigments. The color is due to structural reflections, and not pigments creating light.

  • @NickNewkum Damn you are idiot...im not even biologist and i know they dont make those colors. They need to be invisble so they dont get eaten. L2logics

  • @globalzoo thanks for the "the deep" episode parts man! :)

  • what's the name of that organism with the giant yellow eyes?

  • Same thing happen to me with the startling sound LOL, but I really enjoyed the show. Thank you much for displaying under the sea life.

  • What's even more creepy is that you have no idea what could be swimming behind the fish they're recording 0.O

  • Anyone know the name of the fish at 6:14?

  • Comment removed

  • This is an amazing kick ASS video I love it thank you so much for the upload!!!!! I wish we could see more like whats at the way bottom!!!!

  • Now I know what kind of creatures I want to be next life. xD

  • @knatte9 pretty badass creatures ey?? haha

  • I remember watching this video in tuition a few years back. Never thought it'd come in useful for Marine Biology in high school :)

  • what's the name of this documentary? Can you buy it?

  • @Gizziemototron Yes you can buy it, It's called 'The Blue Planet', I think it is a BBC publication it will be easy to find on Amazon x

  • Exploring the oceans should be more important than space exploration. There are so many exciting and beautiful things to see under the waves! God sure did make some brilliant and awe inspiring creatures :)

  • @B1gO yes...god.....

  • @B1gO lol... if you think the sea is exciting.... go look to the stars.. when you read up about it, you cba about the sea anymore

  • @B1gO I was gonna like that,... til u said 'God' made x

  • @ellabridgie It's a lot easier to believe that God is real and that the universe was created by Him than to believe something as silly as evolution.Nothing plus nothing cannot and will not ever equal everything.Even our scientific and mathematics principles prove this to be true. 0+0=0. Fewer and fewer people believe in a God these days, and it is sad that not everyone will be saved, but this is clearly evident. Whatever a person chooses to believe however, death reveals all things. You'll see.

  • @B1gO I'l take my chances x

  • @B1gO

If you only knew what a sanctimonious tosser you were...

  • @B1gO 0 + 0 = 0, so how are we all here unless we are 0 or infinity

  • see, aliens do exist...

  • Hide and seek here anyone?

  • So cool, it's literally like another deep scary underworld

  • @jakejohnrodgers btw i didnt mean galaxies i meant universes i messed up

  • @jakejohnrodgers i agree that we need to explore space more than the ocean because space is dangerous and we need to know what will happen in the next years but i mean we need to explore the ocean a little more because only 10 percent of the ocean has been exlored but we havent explored all of it because there is so muuch and the dangers but still i think we can explore 10 percent more

  • is this real life?

  • true fact only 10 percent of the ocean has been explored we are wastong are time trying to find another galaxy when we should be exploring the ocean

  • @meganascarrocks Fact, we are not trying to find another galaxy, we have found close to millions of them, the closest galaxy is the Andromeda galaxy which is approximately 2.5million light years away. The closes star is Alpha centauri. Now here's the good part, there is a black hole, 3.5million light years away that has the mass of 18billion of our Earth suns combined. We need to explore space just as much as the ocean or we WILL all perish at some point.

  • Just imagine, we have all this WILD stuff just lurking WAY UNDER OUR OCEAN under EXTREME conditions. There is no way in hell I cannot be convinced there is life on another planet. There are frozen ocean worlds and watery planets and it would be amazing to see what is lurking there. Look at the Hairy Ankler for God's sake, looks like it IS an alien!

  • hopefully with the shuttle program finished maybe NASA could turn to the ocean and try exploring the ocean as we know more about space than we do about our ocean. Only 2 people have ever been to the deepest part of the ocean and 12 people have been to the moon! There are still loads more creatures in the darkest pits of the ocean that we haven't even discovered yet!

  • are these stuff are real?

  • @kennyngoi Yes, they are, people usually think deep sea creatures are fake because of the luminiscence, but down there in the ocean bioluminiscence is a very commun thing (its similar to the light fireflys make and we all know they are real) =P There are some awesome creatures down there we still dont know!

  • My favorite one is the one at 1:34 what is it called ?

  • how these creatures can take water pressure?

  • 7:47 where the hell did that shrimp came from?!? O.o

  • what does he mean by the last sentence ? they appear concealed :S but they have light emiitting tru them :S

  • The deep sea predators are 10 times creepier than the Joker.

  • lol under water ufo

  • What I'd give to to spend a few years travelling the deep oceans in the way some people travel the world.

It's pretty much an entirely separate world to us yet all we really see is the water. Nothing of the societies and economies that drive and sustain it.

    Must be amazing to see.

  • Im so fucking high right now

  • @BananaBase i watch things like this high too lol

  • @BananaBase So am I, and David's voice sounds like porn right now

    LOL

  • @BananaBase me too! :-P

  • Fucken mormon commercials, Dark skin is a course from god? fucken idiots...

  • gods.. cuthulu must be down there somewhere

  • If any fish or organisms from this depth were brought to the surface to be studied under laboratory conditions, the low atmospheric pressure would cause them to expand or even explode.

  • amazing !!!!

  • 4:26 IT'S GREEDO!

  • at 8:33 the jelly fish looks pretty with all the rainbow colors...............maybe more than just rainbow colors

  • it's amazing
