So... people actually like Sands as a character? Really? I mean, yeah, he is interesting and the only original character in the movie (if not the trylogi), but he's a freaking sociopath... So, do people like him as a bad guy or as a good guy, because it seems to me that, in the end, the movie tries to portray him as one of "the good guys" even though he's insane and kills people for fun.

PS.I found the movie funny - so damn unreal and impossible... almost sci-fi-ish. Depp acted well though.

I think you can't look at a character outside of the context of the movie. The movie, like you said is funny, unreal, and so the characters are.

What's not to like about Sands? :D I find Sands very funny, smart, I like how he persists, and really who cares if he's good or bad or he kills people for fun? I do not moralize on fictional characters, I simply enjoy them, together with the story :)

oh. i also forgot to add that it also mentions in the lyrics 'i'm at your feet' and you have placed that at exactly the right moment. and... something about agent mendez reminds me of shakira (if she were brunette) and a female singing the song fits in with her strutting around as well. i think it's just excellent.

This makes me very happy, because finding the right song is the most difficult part of this whole video editing. The song sets the mood, the story, the themes, everything, and without the right song it's just an exercise in edit, something void in my opinion.

this is one of the best YouTube clips that matches the movie it represents. i disagree with the comments about the choice of song. i thought it was absolutely perfect. they mention eyes a lot in the lyrics, which is a major theme in the film and basically fits every movement you have chosen at the precise moment of the song. i thought it was extremely well done and i've added it to my favourites and watched it many times. thank you.

obviously everyone has different tastes in music, but i actually liked that song for that clip. the lyrics mention eyes quite a bit and that is a theme in the film (albeit a rather gruesome one) and timed extremely well to coincide with the music. but... everyone has their own taste in music :-)

I try to create stories, or I follow the theme of the songs to describe some aspects of the characters. In this one there's a story, not sure how evident the story can be, but it's inspired by something personal so it's meaningful to me. Also the rhythm of the song made it possible to be creative and expressive.
