99 Weeks of unemployment is long enough, if you cant find a job in your industry in 99 weeks, look for a job at another, dont just sit on your ass and expect someone else to support you. I have absolutely nothing against the UI program as it is, but it does not need to change in anyway as it is working as it was intended to work.

My son graduated from UNCW with a Bachelor degree in computer science, I am a real estate broker. Neither of us can find work. He is living with me. I got foreclosure papers last week. We are going to be homeless. His car is not even running, and we have 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs which are family. At this point, I don't have a clue what we are going to do. Both of us are so anxious that we are snapping at each other every time we turn around.I understand why some people commit suicide:(

@lizrosebroker First, Get Rid of all the Dogs. Second, TRY to go back to School. Me, I was a Chef ( Professional ) for 14 years, ( I'm 35. ). I went back to collge for Medical. I am doing fine now, thow I have a VERY stressful job, I am saving lives and it pays well. Re-Education is the only way out ! Peace
P.S. I Lived on Rice for 5 years. Now It' Lobster ! I put my Time in ! Good Luck
