first swing and try to hold yourself back from dropping like a rock, slow it down. soon enough you'll be able to lift them...in about a moth and a half (if I go by my length of bartraining) you should be able to not only lift your legs but also hold them up like the hannibal mid air board for a bit
Keep trying ok at first hard to go very well, and do not worry about the negative comments because it is easy to decide upon how difficult is trying to do what you do, and another thing do not try to be better than anyone else, is always to be better than yourself, is what I said bandana hinglandaz network's founder, luck and hit hard.
Seriously we would have a million of hannibals if everyone on this stage would call hisself " the next hannibal". What you are doing is nothing special. Learn to do nice, slow and clean moves. At the beginning you are using more muscles to swing your body up than to get it up with pure muscle strenght. And please don`t show off at this stage it`s more embarrassing. However, keep on that work maybe someday you will surprise me with something you can really show off.
