If you're looking to sell them I'd say your best bet is to figure out ther catalog value, donate to a charitable organization, and take full value write-off from your taxes. Might be interesting to see what you have in the album you've spoke of. Through the years I've had several people ask me to look at albums they had inherited....never found one that had anything of great value.
pay even the minimal value for those stamps...they would probably be reluctant to pay anything at all. The foreign stamps are familiar to me as I have seen them when I collected foreign as a child and I'm guessing they have a similar value as the U.S. (minimal) as a dealer wouldn't put valuable stamps in with low value stamps in their approval books.
MrJoo00, I watched the video again and I'm afraid I have to stand by my original assessment. All of the stamps that I can see are of minimal value. The Scott catalog is the basic catalog used for valuating stamps, especially U.S. If you want to check yourself you can usually get ahold of a copy at the local library. Many of the stamps in your video are from the Presidential Series of 1939. In used condition they are valued at 20 cents, but even that is misleading because a dealer won't
Also..your supposition that used stamps are worth more than mint (with gum as issued) is generally wrong. In general, mint stamps are worth many times more than cancelled issues. most of the stamps in your book are from the period 1930-60 when stamp collecting was very popular, and thus many well maintained copies of these issues exist.
If you want to take the time you can probably look at a copy of the Scott Catalog at your local library to get an idea of the worth of your stamps.
I watched your video. I've been collecting stamps for over 50 years. I'm sorry to say that the U.S. stamps you have are worth very little. The book you have them in appear to be a "circuit book," which is mailed from collector to collector by a dealer or perhaps collector group. Collectors remove and pay for the stamps they want and mail to next person on the list. Can't comment on the foreign as definitively but I assume their worth is similar to the U.S. issues.
i found an old stamp that has abe lincoln but i dont know how to tell what it is worth either so if you find out and i had the same problem i want to sell it but i dont know if it is worth money
most stamp collections / albums are full of cheap easy to get stamps,
i collect only queen victoria mint britain and commenweath,
from what i can see from yours you couldnt sell them as single stamps only as a bulk lot,
maybe worth about $400-$500 , but you never know there maybe a valuable stamp in there somewhere worth loads
