i am SOOO MAD! every smartphone, lg env touch, the samsung rogue all require a data package! i talked to a verizon wireless agent online live chat they said it was as of 11/08/09 there were required! seriously all the rest are like crap! besides the lg env3 and lg chocolate those are the only ones left!

@swskf2 Yeah you're right, they JUST changed that shit on the 16th apparently -.- You used to be able to get it with the 1.99 per mb plan. I was about to get an env3 and they changed it to require a 9.99 plan to on their site. I'm gonna see if I can jew my way out of it =(

I wouldnt get the rogue. I had it for a week and hated it. Its slow and the touch screen is not as good as the touch. Trust me the ENV touch is much better. The web is even faster. Hope this helps.

lg enV touch has really low low battery life, if u text a lot then the phone will die in about 2hrs, im a textaholic so i know. lg enV 3 wont die as fast and is great for texters

I got my EnV Touch from BEstbuy on Sept 26, which is abotu a month ago. From Verizon it was 279$, but when i at Best Buy they said they would match Walmart's Upgrade Price for the EnV Touch, which was 70$, Possibly cheaper now.

i have tested all of verizon phones and must say that the env touch is the best! Its awesome for texting and the call quality is amazing and the web is super fast. The 3.2 megapixel camera is awesome for videos and pics. Trust me get this phone.

because u have both the evn3 and the env touch, which would u recomend. take into account though that i only use my phone for texting, calling and all the other basic features and basicly nothing extra.

Well since the env touch is 20 dollars more i would have to say the touch. The touch has a better camera and speakerphone along with 3.5 mm head phone jack in case one day your mp3 player breaks. It also is much easier and fatser to use.

The env 3 is a great phone but the smll screen on the outside along with limited use when closed gets old. Your better of paying 20 dollars more and getting the touch. If it was over 50 dollars more then i would say the env 3. After using both and testing them the touch is much more fun and overall better to use. Even if you dont use the web the touch is still better. The touch screen is the best of any touch screen phones i have ever used. Hope this was helpfull. Go get the touch:)

My bro just got the iphone and he already wants to take it back and get this. I played around with it and frankly its annoying. Camera has no flash and you cant record at night. Plus you cant get pic messaging...how lame is that. What the hell kid of phone is the iphone. The one and only thing thats cool is the apps but even that is not that great plus its a phone not a app machine. Most of them are useless. DONT BUY THE IPHONE IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I love the env touch, but it really doesn't compare to iPhone. The only feature the iPhone lacks that the env touch has is flash on the camera. Fight over the sidekick and env touch instead. If verizon offered the sidekick I'd totally get that over the env touch.

its kinda short, but i went on ebay and bought an 1100mah battery. and the original env touch only comes with a 900mah battery which will only last about 5 or six hours in the day depending on how much you use it. hope this helped you

The editing is better,,,,gee what else how about a full keyboard that types way faster then the iphone. no one can disagree with that because its the truth. typing on the iphone is a problem. Plus you have 2 3 inch display screens and verizon is way better then at&t. Iphone is just a status thing. The env touch is the real deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dude ur not the only one in the world that has an itouch and an env touch. i have both. i have seen so many unboxing, reviews and comments on the iphone 3gs i lost count. i know the full amount of features on both phones. im even a huge iphone fan! but i still think that the env touch is better because of the full phtsical keyboard and i just like the way the menu on the env touch is and a few other things. its just a matter of opinion. dont need to get all worked up over it
