  • I agree, as Komputer, the duo are far from special, but I like the irony behind these Kraftwerk rip-offs you all bark at so loudly. And what makes one Anthony Rother more special?! Komputer are pretentious in a way they don't pretend they stole it all so blatanly, using and abusing their spiritual fathers' formulas into funny renditions - 'Bill Gates' is one such excellent example. The influence of Kraftwerk is obviously a curse to both - the ideal and the follower.

  • I wonder if the analog synths they mention are the same ones they used when they were I Start Counting and Fortran 5.

  • This really is such a ripoff of Kraftwerk, they add nothing to the "formula". I found myself rolling my eyes when they basicly rip melodies and riffs straight from Kraftwerk songs.

  • I've heard one Komputer CD and it was one of the biggest shit I've ever heard. That was empty, mindless, pointless. This one here is not so bad but I liked Komputer when they used to be I Start Counting. Some of their songs were really great. Here they are Kraftwerk-ish but nothing more. I find Kraftwerk the ONLY genious in the music, after Debussy and Bach.

  • And Beethoven?

  • Beethoven? Hm... no way!

  • @komputermusik And Alkan,Buxtehude, Ravel, Albeniz, Rachmaninoff, Buxtehude, Scriabin, Schubert?

  • this russia attitude, oldstyle thing. totally kraftwerk...not very impressive.
