I think going pro is overrated aspiration. It would be nice to get paid for skating and have all the time you want to devote to it, but personally I'd rather get paid another way that gives you more security and doesn't interject the stress of deadlines and expectations into a hobby that is supposed to alleviate stress. But I've never been quite good enough to get sponsored, so maybe I don't have enough perspective to know for sure.

great video man, I picked up a skateboard when I was 14, and it stayed in my room for almost a year before I really got into learning anything, I stuck with it for about 10 years off and on, until I got a job, and I I couldn't take any bails, I couldn't get hurt becuase that would cause me to miss work. I still go out and roll around working full time and have a daughter now, so it's not like it used to be. out before noon and skating until way passed midnight. really related to this video :)
