Dude i have the same guitar!! :D I recommend replacing the pickups though because i know from personal experience that it makes it a lot better sounding. I used Seymour Duncan AHB-1 Blackouts in the bridge and a EMG 89R in the neck. Gives the guitar a great range and allows the coil tap to be used really well with the EMG 89R. Its just a suggestion. Still great cover!

I played a Schecter C1+ for several months and this is indeed a C1+. They are the Seymour Duncan pickups if they are still the stock pickups (which is what it sounds and looks like). If you're serious about metal, I would recommend the Hellraiser series. The EMG 81TW 89s on those are killer. I own a Schecter Hellraiser C1 FR and totally love it. Don't get me wrong, the C1+ is a great guitar if you're on a budget, but the Hellraiser was made for metal.
