@unknownshadow1993 i suppose you think storing it in tents in plastic container will do the trick! what will happen when the nuclear power plants that are built on a fault line suddenly get hit with an earthquake or tsunami, or tornado, or flooding, will it be safe then? they are old and out dated. they poision the earth, the air, and cause canser in human beings. you will be eating your words soon enough. many nuclear power plants are not monitored and there luck is running out!

@Julia76087 what will happen if we get hit with a big solar flare that knocked out the power grid, do you think you will be safe? how long do there emergency generators last? 4 hrs, maybe if you are real lucky 8 hrs, then what? then you will have a melt down because without the backup generators they cant cool the nuclear power plants down. if they are so safe why are germany and italy phasing them out? come on man be real!

I have been following nuclear energy for many years and the disasters only happen because there was lack of thought in what could go wrong.

Chernobyl 1986 happened because they were testing if the turbines could produce sufficient energy to keep the coolant pumps running in the event of a loss of power until the emergency diesel generator was activated. For this test to happen they deliberately turned the safety systems off. Now if they hadn't done that the Chernobyl disaster would not have existed.

I've heard rumors that many Japanese want the US to occupy Japan again, and Marines have already been sent into some areas. Concerns that the Japanese response to the situation has been to spread their misfortune by air and sea are on the table. Summary executions are warranted for persons interfering with the prevention of another Fukushima. No matter why they are doing it, they must be stopped at any cost. A Fukushima Redux needs to be treated like a "terrorist threat" and anyone taking public funds in the interest of securing or defending their country caught interfering with this effort is guilty of the highest treason.
