Great song! Viz needs to re-release these songs as extras or add them to the OVA episodes on the DVD. Also this is one of the series they should re-release the manga in an unflipped version to show the original orientation of how the drawings were meant to be shown and read (right to left).
Ranma is a boy, but he does have a developing female personality, one that emerges fully blown every now and then. Like at the fair in the first kachu tenchin arc, on the ice skating arc, and tsubasa story. That personality is represented by the swimsuit ranma in this song. However, the main charachter in this song is actually womanhood ranma(female ranma's good side), as she wears most of her clothes. Evil within ranma(female ranma's evilside) is a little too creepy to get her own song.
At least not until Ranma and ranma-chan split, which was after the episodes but inbetween the music videos, during the recording for 'Love Letter from China.'
In "a slightly hilly road", ranma and ranko are in different places at the exact same time. Ranma and Ryoga are in the middle of a practical joke, where ranma is supposed to meet up with akane, and ryoga is supposed to meet up with ranko. Your can tell by how guilty ranko looks.

Quite honestly we simply do not know enough about this timeline where Ranko and Ranma are separate people, she's on the diving team, etc.

Hey, do you not think Ranma himself has a feminine side to himself even if he even doesnt have the curse? I think its very touching that he does such things, since it brings out more of an expressve personalaty.

@tenaigirl Indeed, Megumi Hayashibara has a VERY lovely voice, but is making it sound a bit shrill at sometimes to add a girly touch to it. It was intended.
