On APS-C cameras try to avoid apertures smaller than F16 as they can create diffraction. This may or may not be an issue depending on how close to the edges your subject is.
Two seconds at f11??? Not at Disneyworld. I do not agree with the 2 second exposure at f11. F11will over expose most shells! That is crazy. My 24 years of experience shooting fireworks at Disney World and Disneyland tell me that a more reasonable exposure would be ISO100, 8-12 seconds, f18-f20, depending on the bursts and type of shells, and how many bursts you want in the photo.
@ilovemymac123 it isn´t only the better way, u cant say the man in the video said it right. cause u hav to know how bright it is, and u can f.a. experiment with the ISO and the aperture... cause if you do it like the man, u take everytime the same picture... and that is shiit :D
Clear, concise and gets the shooter up and running with balanced settings to work from. Thank you for your efforts to help people get good memories. I've subscribed and hope to see more.

Everyone keeps saying to focus to infinity - how? I'm using a D5000 with the standard 18-55mm lens.
andalora91 7 months ago
@andalora91 set the lens to manual focus and then turn the focus ring all the way to the left

@4FRONTFilms Thank you! Someone told me all the way to the right, but maybe that's for Canon-compatible lenses?
andalora91 7 months ago
@andalora91 I agree I have the 3000 with 18-55, I wish people would considerate that and tell us how to compensate for infinity with our lenses.

Isn`t it better to use "bulb"? And then press the button, when a rocket is going up and then release a bit after the explosine!
