@cupidgurl15 OK, try Death Cab For Cutie... their lyrics can be kind of dark sometimes, and I think they have written great melodies as well. I realize I'll probably be flamed for comparing this band with that one, but I'm not trying to say they sound alike at all (they don't), only they have certain elements in their songs that may cause you to like one as much as the other (or not). This is just my opinion BTW. For Nightmare of You, I like all their albums; for Death Cab, try "Plans".

Imo, they're geniuses. It takes an incredible amount of talent to make music which on the outset shouldn't be that great (generic music, teenagery-scenestery lyrics) but which is addictive beyond simple description.

@DrPinkReality I completely agree... I probably shouldn't be leaving so many comments on one video, but I think the reason this band (and this song) suceeds is because of great SONGWRITING. Just strip away the lyrics (which are good, but are also the part most critics fight over), and strip away the arrangement and the vocal style, and you are left with the melody and chords (and rhythm). Play those over a few times, by themselves. I hope you also agree that they are good!
