Oh the writing was never that bad, little crazy yes but the stories were always fun and the characters were awesome

For the most part the writing was typical of the times, which means when we look back now-a-days the episodes look cheesy, but that's the case with most 80's and early 90's cartoons. Lol. They could only get away with so much on TV then, now-a-days cartoons virtually have free range to do anything

haha i think he's just testing them to see if they work. He did just get blasted with anti-matter. The real head scracther of this episode is that Ratchet got blasted to but appeared at thier base shocked at thier condition, but blame it on the rushed animation and the fact that he and Ironhide have similar modes. Notta big deal
