  • Everytime I hear this I see Brian singing this....

  • Sounds like sinatra. :)

  • @MrLegendardisch It's supposed too. That's the joke.

  • @thetan63 what? :P there's no joke... Brian's voice is Seth's real voice

  • @FrangiPaint

No one in that string mentioned Brian, they're talking about Sinatra. Observe who they're replying to. But you can't help picturing Brian everytime you hear him, can you?

  • Man he is one of the top notch crooners! Thanks for uploading!

  • lol reminds me of Frank Sinatra

  • @20sat92 I was thinking the same but I knew he has been dead for years.

  • @20sat92 It did the same to me.

  • Oh dear goodness, what a lovely voice.......

  • Seth macfarlane is most awesome person ever conceived

  • When they wanted to put Futurama out with a bang, They did a great job with this movie. Good thing it didn't work because Futurama is still going on on Comedy Central! Futurama FTW!!

  • @GTASACheater101 The've got a whole season on comedy central!

  • @GTASACheater101 With wonderful Episodes! Dont forget the one tonight at 10!

  • @spideyfan300 How would I?!

  • needs to be in fallout new vegas

  • Seth McFarlane's voice = Liquid Sex.

Just listen to that buttery, molasses baritone.

  • @CinnabonChan you're a freak lol but I agree :))

  • Amazing voice he has indeed!

  • Seth macfarlane has a lovely voice :]

  • I love Seth and family guy and how is it new fukn tard

  • @MrThePachuco Gamer4672 presumably meant since the uncancellation.

  • hate the new family guy...but gotta admit that seth has a decent voice

  • @Gamer4672 Yeah at least Futurama never got shitty!

  • I hate his "comedy" as it's mainly a money farm to FOX nowadays, but his singing on Futurama was just lovely. If I needed a singer for something, I'd go to Seth.

  • Seth...has an amazing voice :3, thank you futerama for getting him

  • An animation of a White Labrador singing and dancing on stage in my head while listening to this.

  • @brenchtoast44 Kay.

  • @iiTrick best reply ever

  • @brenchtoast44 then why listen to the song

  • as much of an intolerant jerk and bad writer he is, he has an incredible voice. like a very classic old singer fromt he 40s/50s.

  • @LiloPelakai I'd like to see you write better than him ;) Also, what makes him an intolerant jerk?

  • @LiloPelakai Obviously you're too retarded to even bothering taking the 30 seconds to google him and see that everything you just said is false. Apart from his singing, which also could have been answered within those 30 seconds.

  • Brian has a nice voice... i mean Seth o.o

  • @YoungNeil0o0 oh just call him beth

  • i cant belive i didnt pick up that it was seth...fuck that man can sing

  • @enigmaendofline he was trained by frank sinatras vocal coaches

  • Seth is pretty good

  • omg I didn't realize this was him! Amazing

  • Maybe Seth MacFarlane can quit animation and pursue a successful music career

  • Sing it, Brian!

  • Sexy voice.

  • I love this song

  • See people, if Seth Macfarlane and Matt Groening can put their respective shows supposed "rivalry" behind them, why can't the fans of both shows?

  • Seth McFarlane has an awesome voice.

  • i don't mind Seth being an atheist, but equally trash all religions and not just Christianity.Which is why i say seth is a fucking hypocrite.

  • @crazyolme Well what do you expect him to do?! He lives in America where Christianity is the dominant religion so of course he's gonna fight the home battle. He's no more of a fucking hypocrite than Somalian aid worker choosing to work in their own country as opposed to any other poverty stricken place.

  • @libreek222 that doesn't make sense one bit. if anything it only makes Seth look opportunistic. Which is exactly what it is. He's milking this atheist bullshit for every penny it's worth. The only reason he will dare not pick on other religions is because he knows it will backfire on him. He may be a very talented man, but he's slime and that's a fact. He has absolutely no right to mock people, in the name of humor.

  • @crazyolme My comment does make allot of sense if only you had the sense to see it. And what do you mean he's milking this atheist bullshit? He IS an Atheist! He has a right to express his beliefs just as much as any other person. And he DOES pick on other religions, Scientology, Judaism, AND Islam! It seems to me like you are judging the man without having seen enough of his work. If you do wish to respond to this, please get your facts right.

  • @crazyolme If you've ever watched any of the Family Guy episodes that are more centered around Brian (the atheist dog) you'd realize that there is a lot of poking fun at atheism too.

The guy's a writer and an entertainer, not a politician.. why take any of his jokes seriously?

  • @crazyolme ever looked at the way he shows mort? And if he would insult the islam in the same way he would have a death wish. Instead, be proud that christianity can take some critisizm.

  • Seth's real voice is alot more underplayed and less "brian" in real life, the voice you are all familiar with is his show voice, i know right?

  • lol they should do a crossover of the simpsons and family guy

like they did with the flinstones and the jetsons

    iv thought that forever haha

  • @TVindustries5000 I could be wrong but I think flinstones and jetsons were created by the same person/company so a simpsons/family guy cross over will proabaly never happen and unlike flinstones and the jetsons, family guy and simpsons have very different art styles

  • @turdmaflurd oh yes of course. and yes they were both hannah-barbera toons

  • wow seth is alway bad mouthing The simpsons and futurama and south park, yet ... lol wtf is going on?

  • Hey-hey! It's Brian! XD I love this SO HARD!

  • is seth an aithiest like brian just curious, not like id hate him cause of that, i find him amazing

  • @Deathsquad49 Yes he is an outspoken atheist.

  • LOVE IT!

  • There are no words for how happy this song makes me feel.

  • Is that fwank sinalotra?!

  • I love this song... Seth's an amazing singer. I think he should just sing. Family Guy's so bad now, I wish he'd just give it up and start a jazz band!

  • @Voltora agree he sounds like frank sinatra (also known as "the voice") if youre interested "new york new york" and "chicago" with sinatra is really great

  • Yea i had a feeling it was him singing he has a pretty recognizable voice really cool him being on Futurama

  • Seth Is The Awesomest Guy Ever!

  • I always thought the creators of the simpsons and family guy hated each other.

how come Seth MacFarlane had a role in a movie by Matt Groening

  • @jkoloklkoklokl In an interveiw I think he said they are friends.

  • @jkoloklkoklokl I think the Simpsons just hates the show Family Guy — from what I hear, they're cool with the creators and actors.

  • love that song!!...

  • i knew that was him lol

  • I JUST KNEW this was MacFarlane!

  • He has a very well trained voice! What a talented guy.

  • @evanfire1230

``... Although the moon to which you fly me could be Phobos or Deimos``

  • I'd listen to him read the phone book. His voice is flawless.

  • His voice is amazing.

  • awesome

  • this is his brian voice... still him but different from his usual voice

  • that is his normal voice in an interview he was talking in that voice so i think he actually uses his own voice for brian

  • its really cool how all big pg-13 rated cartoon producers have a connection

  • Looks like McFarlane chose the wrong career.

  • @drakkis nah really dont think so. i mean what would we do without family guy, american dad and the cleveland show!

  • @bmeechan Happy?

  • Him singing this song could be... kind of a truce between Groening's and MacFarlane's creations? I mean, this is priceless man.

  • Say what you will about Family Guy, there is still no denying that this guy has one hellova singing voice.

  • this song is called "that was then and this is too"

  • into the wild green yonder and beast with a billion back are my to favorites

  • @Castratikron54 =O! You can't even say that! They both rock!

  • since i heard him singing as brian, i tough he have such a great voice.... i love when he sings in family guy.

  • seth macfarlane may be a pretentious jerk who has turned his best show into a smoldering pile of crap, but he has the golden larynx of the gods.

  • oh and I forgot to mention: I think Seth MacFarlane is the best contemporary jazzsinger and he NEEDS to bring out an album! I'd love to hear him sing "one for my baby (and one more for the road)", "fly me to the moon", "come fly with me", "I've got you under my skin", "Skylark" etc!!

  • @dennoow He has sung "Come Fly with Me", check out the related videos.

  • where did you get the song

  • fucking ace sinatra impersonation

  • THE DUDE IS A GOD

  • I recognized this voice right away when I watched this.

If Futurama and Family Guy had a crossover, I'd die very happy.

  • Seth MacFarlane in Futurama

    Priceless

  • @ELPerroQliao well, him and matt are like best friends

  • @ELPerroQliao you should see the connections between him and other cartoon character series...he was acting on a show called johnny bravo,i'v never heard of it,but i heard its on cartoon network

  • @curtismichael14 Johnny Bravo was a classic. It was on probably nine or ten years ago.

  • @versusterminus19 lol i know,when i saw him i knew what it was

  • Um why did you remove 10SpeedTalkinBicycle's comment? She didn't say anthing bad.

  • The author is the person who wrote it. So, 10SpeedTalkinBicycle removed it

  • Ahhhh, I see. I thought someone removed it for a weird reason. Just wondering.

  • Sounds like Brian

  • Yeah that's his real voice, Brian is kind of Seth in dog form.

  • Comment removed

  • @teenwitchlovergirl

That explains why Brian is such a liberal douche bag.

  • @TurboBabyPuncher Wow, I bet you're a nice person when you don't have a stick up your ass.

  • @teenwitchlovergirl But he's still right.

  • @Kindahuge Yeahhhh, I don't agree.

  • @TurboBabyPuncher did you add the 'liberal' part because you you're just a 'good ol' boy' or because you watch the bullshit that fox news spills out everyday?

  • i agree with the dogg.

    its just an awesome song.

  • can we all just agree its an awesome song?

  • im with that :)

  • yeah but too short

  • Comment removed

  • k...

  • well apparently you dont know what music really is then.

  • share the mp3 please?

  • I'll try to find where I put it sometime this weekend and upload it if I get time...

  • @johnplaydrums if you want an mp3 of this song then download mp3 rocket and after its done start it up, then copy the URL of this video, paste it in the bar below the search bar in mp3 rocket, itl turn it into audio only, no video, then you can put it on ipods and other music players that you can connect to your computer, hope this helps :)

  • This is Jazz or Blues or what?

  • a good question, blues is usually alot slower, but jazz is really up beat.

  • It has a sort of a Jazzy feel to it, but it kinda has elements of Blues in it too. So which one is it?

  • well in my opinion its jazz

  • It's Big Band or Jazz. Sinatra's style influenced Seth Macfarlane a lot, like in that episode where he sings with Frank Sinatra Jr in that club episode.

  • more Frank Sinatra-style

  • Jazz. It's harmonically more complex than blues usually, blues is more or less I-IV-V where this has a different feel to it. But this is typically a "swing" song. Obviously the two styles do overlap a bit. Whenever Seth MacFarlane is singing you can probably assume it's jazz, he's a Sinatra/Dean Martin swing kind of guy.

  • I'm terrible at understanding the terms like I-IV-V and its movements, and to what it really means. but i remember jazz having something like IV-I-VI or something along those lines but I just nodded my head and agreed in those class. dumb it down for me.

  • Oh well it's not really a definite line or something. In general I-IV-V in A means you play A7-D7-E7 in blues (yes all dominant chords) but this is very basic. You can make blues as harmonically complex as you like and it would still be blues. Jazz started out with II-V-I, in A that's B min 7 - E7 - A maj 7 but it also gets more and more complex. It's a fine line between the 2 styles but I consider this jazz, also because of the swing feel it has to it, which you hardly find in blues.

  • stop teaching the kids

  • On the DVD I origionally thought this was Sinatra allthough I read that's one of his influences

  • Yeah, I read he was trained by the same vocal coaches as Frank Sinatra. He really should do a jazz album! He has such a great voice!!

  • he is a great singer he also sings great in the american dad intro

  • Quite ironic that he was the only one they could find that was able to sing this opening right :p

  • Was this the same seth from family guy??

  • Yes

  • @smezzy It's agreed, he's got the coolest and greatest sounding voice on the planet!

  • @masteroftoast321 You can't tell from the fact that he sounds exactly like Brian singing a song on Family Guy?
