  • this fools super tight. hope all you haters see the light i know im barley seeing it but im following.

  • I just don't understand why Mr. Kirk Cameron can't find a real job.

  • Kirk @ 2:20 "I dont want to commit intellectual suicide."

Well, Kirky ol' boy, ya did. Quite magnificently I might add.

  • so he's saying believe in god just in case? Doesnt seem like a compelling arguement for gods existance.

  • Talking about his personal experience in a debate?!?! Wow.... I almost feel bad about making any nasty comments about someone making a complete fool of himself on a public debate. Just "almost"! The guy is a compete idiot, and his little personal story of self deception would only move those who already believe such idiocy. Just because these two morons do not understand science nor its methodology, does not mean that they have "proven" the existence of the monster they call god!

  • sounds to me like kirk needed a new job and likes the fame hope hecrealizes that he is playing the part of village idiot now.

  • Man, Kirk is sick. He needs a psychiatrist.

  • Hello, Elibeth121...I hope you understand why we atheists are the way we are. A real atheist, even under pain of damnation, would NEVER bend a knee to so measly a black-hearted cocksucker as the god of Abraham. period. As for his "existence", I'm not concerned. Jesus doesn't even exist. Jesus was MADE UP, TOO!

  • atheists are full of ignorance

  • way to go Kirk way to stick up for the truth.

  • Kirk... I sersiously doubt you ever put any thought into your beliefs until you became Ray's lapdop. Now you just eat up his dogma and regurgitate it with a dull expression on your face.

  • It sounds to me like he's saying, "You'd better believe in God just in case there really is a hell." It's just not a very intelligent argument.

  • 4:18 Right there, Kirk loses.

  • @LetsGetHighOnMorris I think it was over before it began

  • Kirk said one thing that all of us will one day experience. No matter what you believe or don't believe when we die and leave this physical life behind the matter of what is or is not true will be revealed to all.

  • Glad I'm a theist.

  • @Elementer117 Shoot yourself and return to nature. Youre a worthless corpse.

  • @PacoHammad Typical atheist kook. It appears you don’t possess the intellectual horsepower to put together even one coherent thought.

  • Comment removed

  • @PacoHammad kudo’s for helping me prove my point. I am an expert in the care, and feeding of you fools and am obliged to help you where, and when you seek my guidance.

  • Thats a lovely testimony Kirk, but its not philosophical evidence for the existence of God. Therefore it has no place in the debate.

  • They picked the two DUMBEST yahoos on the planet to defend The creator of the universe.....why? someone was so disgusted that they left the building. you can hear the door slam at 3:03 .LMAO. some people (including me) have a feeling that there is a God. and he wants you to do good things. at that level theres nothing wrong with it. but when dogmatic religious texts are used by people as an excuse for violence, thats when theres an issue. science is the interpretaion of info. nuthin rong wit dat

  • 0:22 "I used to think, just like they think."

    And then he stopped thinking...

  • @CammehYaBams stopped thinking about crap and put his life in his creators hands. The only thing that matters

  • The bible can be used as a premise to prove that God exist because there is manuscriptial evidence which proves the bible exist from way back in the day to today that proves that the bible exist there is also archaelogical evidence, prophetic evidence and statistical evidence:)

  • " I blindly believed what my science teachers told me in school "

Unlike religion , you could have put the science to the test.

  • 3:39

    .......and the evidence was........?????

  • wtf is this LOL. i thought they were going to use science to prove god exists. this sound more like a testimony.

  • Kirk claims that it was his concern of going to "hell" in the "afterlife" that led him to believe. In other words, he just wants to make sure that if there was a god, he would go to heaven for being Christian.

But there are plenty of other make-believe religions that probably suggest that if you didn't believe in them, you'd go to hell for eternity. Therefor, Kirk should get "spiritual" with numerous religions, only to avoid from taking the chance of going to "hell" in the so called "afterlife".

  • Ho so he became an atheist before he does his research;

  • "I had faith in what they said, but the truth is I never took the time...to see if what they said were true".

    Son, I am disappoint.

  • If I wasn't already an athiest, I would be after watching Kirk and Ray and hearing their terrible, weak arguments. Reminds me of a Modest Mouse lyric, "our ideas held no water, but we used them like a dam."

  • "There wouldn't be a hidden agenda there". That's right, there isn't one. Science is there to make you and everybody else smarter and to open you to a whole world of knowing and learning.

Your God, or any other deity, does have an agenda, always, for everything. Good or bad, period. But not science, it is truly open-minded.

  • I'm sorry but kirk was no atheist he has no idea of what being an atheist is

  • Love it!

Believing in GOD for future personal gain.

  • Cameron's description of his conversion reminds me of George Orwell's 1984

  • i have a piple on my ass kirk pray to your god and make it go away its getting in the way of doin your my mom, but shes not complaining.

  • And tell me Kirk, what exactly IS the highschool science teachers' hidden agenda?

  • @dungeonmunky Playboy Bunny Clones, duh.

  • Not sure if they get humility. "Humbled myself" = Humbled myself to having superior knowledge compared to others of the existence of an incomprehensible omnipotent being. If that's the meaning of humility then hell I gotta re-evaluate my understanding of the English language...

  • atheist = winning. xtrianity = sizzle, losing, bye

  • Wow...if I wasn't an atheist I'd be embarrassed to believe the same thing as him....moron...

  • @elibeth121 I'd like to know what grounds you make this accusation. Otherwise shut up.

  • the reason kirk seems convincing is because he was a childhood actor. he deserves an oscar for this performance

  • Celebrity idiot attempting logic. He needs to stop stealing from the brainwashed masses before he can ask to be taken seriously.

  • All Kirk has done is recite speeches another person wrote.

  • If you really listen to all of Kirks babblings you can easily draw the conclusion that he is terrified of death.

  • kirk wouldnt need faith in what his science teachers said if he would have paid attention and learned what they taught :P

  • Kirk's argument here is really disingenuous: he's conjuring up the fear of hell, by saying we should think really hard on this decision, not on its own merits, but on the chance (very minuscule to me, apparently guaranteed for him) that disbelief will be a one-way ticket to everlasting torment. That's the worst kind of blackmail.

  • Kirk couldn't have been a well-informed atheist, he even said so himself: he "blindly believed what my science teachers told me". That's how you should come about being an atheists: you're suppose to examine the facts and evidence for both the existence of God and weight it with evidence that says nothing about God (which is all scientific evidence). If you do that honestly, without rationalizations, and without feeding yourself arguments from ignorance, the existence of God will be unnecessary.

  • Great job Kirk and Ray. very poise, not rude, not attacking, not cutting the other people off. but on the other hand...brian and kelly, sorry your attitude in itself shows the absense of manners...

  • Kirk needs to think more about what a debate is. It's not a sermon.

  • @GeorgeMcSandcracker I love his sermon

  • THE BEST ARGUMENT AGAINST RELIGION WOULD BE TO SIMPLY UNDERLINE EVERY SENTENCE THIS GUY UTTERS.....'AS HE STUDIES HISTORY, ALL THE EVIDENCE POINTS TO THE LIVING GOD' - WTF????

  • He licks his lips far too often. It's as if he knows he's saying B.S.

  • I think religious people like Kirk are more arrogant than they think Atheists are and they just can't see it.

  • @CFrostyTheSnowman hmm wrong you are

  • hahaha really the debate is over... religions are full of crap

  • Funny thing is Ray and Kirk are better presenters then the others.

  • @ironboot21 No way the atheist guy is awesome. He presented very well I thought. The red head on the other hand......

  • What a great guy, he ends by saying that if you don't believe in his God then you'll go to hell. Why, if everyone in the world was like him... oh shit, that's not good.

  • @GlibSocialWorker that is the truth

  • so he dies and finds out the muslim religion is the real one... what then???

  • @dvc21rkk the muslim religion is crap

  • @elibeth121 Oh the Muslim religion is bad or "wrong" but the way you believe in is so much better? Go fuck yourself.

  • Thank you Kirk. You've helped me make a personal decision to remain an atheist.

  • @cvalley2 It is astounding to learn that no matter how you look at it, you have fastened yourself in the loser’s seatbelt.

  • Comment removed

  • @cvalley2 oh congrats you will burn in hell

  • @elibeth121 for what, not needing a fairy tale to be a moral person? Not buying it.

  • @cvalley2 We need God for salvation.

  • Damn! The immense idiocy and lack of gray matter from this Kirk twerp is beyond laughable. I seriously would love to punch this MONUMENTAL buffoon in the mouth. His imbecilic crap is more annoying than nails scratching a chalkboard!

  • @Sexxistentialist

Nice tolerance level you got there.

  • The only thing Cameron is proving human psychology and not God. Humans tend to fear what they don't know and our brains are wired to know answers. His mind just made him feel comfortable by using a God to explain nature all around us.

  • Uh Oh! I'm smelling Pascal's Wager!

  • he seriously just owned himself.... *speechless*

  • Kirk converted when he was 17? lol obviously he was of age...

  • RRS sucks

  • Who in the world does that guy think he is?

Did he just finish with a threat with hell?

Someone shoudl slap him with some sense.

  • @TPorter1633 'Did he just finish with a threat with hell?' Yes, he did. The cheek. I think Kelly puts it very nicely when she says that they invent a problem (hell) in order to force you into a position where their god is the only solution. Cheap fear-mongering. It's exactly the same as what bullies do. I'm an agnostic myself, but I'd like to think that if there is a god, she's not on the same level with the bullies I used to meet in the playground.

  • Umm... wasn't the point to try and prove gods existence?? cuz all I got from him was preaching, there wasn't even one bit of supporting evidence. truly a failure.

  • jedimasterham is correct, and perhaps it is not possible for them to properly engage in a rational debate. After all, Kirk is the man who said you have to circumvent your intellect (sounded like he actually said circumnavigate but his gesture made it clear) to be able to take creationism seriously. Naturally, as it is not even internally consistent

  • he pulled the star card....puke..

  • @KakashiHatake212 As long as you MEAN IT, he has to. Its in the bible, and the bible is true, so he HAS to.

Anyone who isnt truly convinced about atheism just has to do that. Its not really something I will do, as I am not that gullible as to think for even one second this bullshit is real, but if anyone was that unsure, they would just have to do that.

Just dont murder people or anything

And since the church is changing the rules all the time, who knows what will be allowed in the future?

  • No sense in arguing with people. I'm just speaking the real TRUTH!! John 3:16

  • Turn to the LORD JESUS CRIST. He will be the answer to your problems. These people that say there us no such thing just love living in their sin and doing whatever they want. JESUS paid for these sins with his life. One day you will pay if you don't have HIM in your heart. You tube this the burning hell!!

  • @spurgeon71 I like how your argument ends with 'If you don't believe me my master will torture you for ever'. Wow you worship a nice guy, sure it's not the devil?

  • No such thing as evolution. Show me one thing that has evolved in this world. You people crack me up. Oh we come from monkeys. The universe just exploded and then there was earth. Oh by the way the world is flat and you will fall off the edge. All these theories have been proven wrong. I guess if a scientist said we weren't really here and your life us just a dream you would believe him. Don't let your death prove you wrong and live in hell forever. There's more to life than just living and dyi

  • @spurgeon71 There are many things wrong with what you're saying right now.

First, humans actually ARE members of the ape family. This has been proven by fossil records and DNA.

Second, the Big Bang was not an explosion. It was an expantion.

Third, these have been completely proven beoynd resonable doubt.

Fourth, ok. Here's an example of evolving species. Watch the video"evolution in action: ring species".

Fifth, evolution is a theory of biology and the big bang is a theory of cosmology.

  • @spurgeon71 (part 2) Sixth, evolution does not equal pure atheism. Some Christians accept evolution and some non-religious do not.

I recommend that you watch the Foundational Falsehood of Creationism series by Aronra, the Why Do People Laugh at Creationists series by Thunderf00t, Potholer54's Made Easy series, and various videos by Shanedk, Donexodus2, Venaloid, and many others.

  • @spurgeon71 Are you retarded?

  • @spurgeon71 Please tell me who the hell EVER said we come from monkeys? Please...quote ONE scientist that said we came from monkeys.

  • This alleged examination of the evidence for evolution Kirk says he did is not so different from Tom Cruises examination of psychiatry. two arrogant imbeciles, with an inflated ego from being movie stars, who think they can refute scientific theories in an afternoon of their time, by means of their gifted superbrains. the poor bastard doesnt understand a hint of what evolution is all about.

  • Kirk Cameron makes me a sad panda.

  • That feeling you get when you give up and trust in something bigger than yourself is a very powerful psychological breakthrough. You do see everything differently/better. Sadly, people ignorantly misinterpret this breakthrough and egotistically tie it to something they understand...as Kirk did.

Worse, con artists create rituals (e.g., baptism) to purposely misguide people through this breakthrough to turn them into loyal followers (sheep) in the con's religious organization or other org.

  • There will be no atheists in hell. Because all atheists will know HE truly exists once they are there. Don't let that be you. Satan has twisted your mind and wants to keep you. God is amazing! He loves you. He died for you. Give him a chance. He will turn your life around. Look at your life. We are only here a short while but eternity is FOREVER....... GOD LOVES YOU

  • @spurgeon71 eternity is forever. Sorry but You are as smart as a farmer back in 1680. They lived life for eternity. No you are even dummer cause they couldnt read or write. Do you know what absolutism did to humanity. God was used as a wepon for so many years and you support him?

  • @spurgeon71 Why live for forever? I would rather live my life and have it end than to have to live for eternity.

  • Wow, Kirk had "a sense" that god was real?

If thats not evidence enough for everybody, well....

Well, lets get real, that is about ALL the evidence there is, isnt it?

  • Kirk converted because he was afraid of death, not because of 'evidence'

  • So Kirks playing the "I'm covering my ass by believing in my invisible friend" card

  • @mikeyjim69 Anybody can do that.

Just repent your sins on your deathbed. As long as you mean it, god would HAVE to let you in, wouldnt he?

Yet another huge fault with religion.

  • in other words he went to christianity because he was scared shitless of what happens after you die. epic fail on his end

  • What the fucking bullshit is Kirk Cameron talking about?

  • How dare theses assholes use an intellectual debate as a platform to further their religion! I expected logic because I have an open mind, yet all I got is what I logically should have expected.

  • LOL @ Kirk Cameron "studying".

  • Kirk talked about how evidence changed his mind, but then he never stated any of that evidence...

  • Wow. Celebrity messed Cameron up something awful.

  • @rhatcher010 Actually according to Co-stars he was apparently pretty good until he found religion.

  • God really likes make people argue. If he made these evangelical idiots in his own vision, then god is an idiot himself.

  • There's a difference between listening to teachers, and being taught truth. Even if they lied, YOU CAN RESEARCH YOURSELF!!!!!

  • god gave you life? son of a bitch, your parents gave you life!

  • wow Pascal's Wager much? haha

  • Kirk Cameron is proving a man can change !!

    What a discovery !

  • It has been over 2000 years that Christianity is around. Yet, a huge majority of earth population don't believe in the Christian God. So i would say that God is not that powerful, since, he had enough time to show us the absolute truth.

  • Wow Kirk and his butt buddy really got their stupid clocks cleaned.

  • There is nothing new about their points, but they did their homework, the issue is really, you can't use science to prove or disprove the existence of god, and, even if you can somehow use science to prove it, there will STILL be uncertainty, scientific method gives you a sense of how probable or improbable something happens, but it almost never give you complete certainty, and people will remain atheist even so. Just do the research and weight and see if you lean more on one side than another.

  • @Yellowknight888 agree. God cant be proof in science, God is spirit and the things of the spirit ONLY can be perceived by the spirit. Peace.

  • "That's Pascal's Wager, that's bullshit."

  • Kirk Cameron is a dipstick - it's undeniable.

  • @rockyonemambo Kirk Cameron, Ray Comfort, and Ted Haggard go have a gay threesome once a month.

  • @babuwhite2010; Origin of the first specie in evolution is unknown.

If MasterX created MasterY, then who created MasterY will be asked. Anything created becomes a creation. If Master was created he also becomes a created being. Master shall not be, can not be a created being. human brain can not understand it.

  • Testimony can be mistaken.

Hard evidence cannot. It can be misread, misinterpreted, missed, ignored, or tampered with. But it cannot be WRONG. This is why it always carries more weight in a trial than testimony.

  • It is simply not possible for things to evolve by itself from no where. They have to come from something. Master mind has be there behind all these things. People simply do not believe this Master because they can not see at will. How silly is that?

  • @sk71m you're wrong. You only think there was nothing. No one really knows where the universe came from. it could be a god(not any god from organized religion thats for sure) or the big bang(which is very possible, search for some laurence Kraus lectures here on youtube and you'll understand why) or it could be anything, we dont know. poeple are so afraid to admit that they dont know that they create easy solutions like the bible. How silly is that?

  • @sk71m pick up any basic science book on darwinian evolution by natural selection and you will see just how silly your statement was...

  • I was expecting a debate, not Pascal's Wager. If Kirk did his homework like he said he did, then he should've heard about the problems with the Wager decades ago!

  • "What you believe about God will determine where you spend entirety".

Exactly why Christianity and religion is bull shit. I feel better not having to worry about whether or not I'm going to burn in hell when I die, but thanks anyway Kirk.

  • Why do you need faith in science? It's predicated on science!

  • Blah Blah - 2 minutes into this and I can tell his only argument was Pascal's Wager

  • Both Ray and Kirk did not show ANY evidence whatsoever. I thought this was meant to be a debate?

  • This is the most stupid conversion story I have ever heard. He ask god, if he exists, to show himself. Then nothing happens, but he pretends something did anyway. So now he knows there must be a god.

But the worst part is, that first he is saying that he was looking at the evidence and then he is converted by this? What the hell?! How gullible and stupid are you?

Is this guy actually expecting us to be convinced by this bullshit?

  • hes not even debating hes just talking about himself.

  • Problem with this:

-Kirk and his friend aren't really debating; they're simply trying to expound their message.

  • @jedimasterham ..yeah this is more like a testimonial than a debate..but if you cant form a convincing point, you may as well try and further your agenda

  • @jedimasterham Nail on the head my good sir/madam

  • So basically what he is saying is that he got so fed up with the question of God he got on his knees and gave up on the truth and took the easy way out and somehow FOOLED himself into believing because he didn't want to look anymore. Fine I don't care, just don't try to make others take the easy way out too just cause you did.

  • really kirk? you never took tha time to look at the evidence for yourself, maybe you should try that.

  • God teaches we walk by faith and not by sight. Jesus Christ is lord over all, until you open up your heart to Him, you will remain just as confused as the atheists that were debating.

  • @scarinflictor The atheist didn't seem too confused to me. Infact, all their points made rational logical sense.

  • @klmbaby6 From a christian perspective and from a Godly perspective, they are extremely confused. I can't believe any atheist could watch the video and really think they were well represented. It was kind of embarrassing. Kirk was an atheist, I don't think he became a christian on accident, God spoke to his heart and changed his heart. He will endure far more persecution as a christian than than as an atheist. That is for sure.

  • @scarinflictor What exactly do you think they are confused about? In my opinion, they presented their case sufficiently. I'm an free think/atheist and I thought they brought up excellent points. Remember the pressure was on Kirk & Ray to prove their point and I don't think they did a good job. They basically tried to appeal to one's emotion to believe and not to their intelect.

  • @klmbaby6 Yes, I understand what you are saying, the burden of proof was definitely on kirk and ray. However, no minds were going to be swayed in this debate. The atheists went into this debate already belieiving kirk and ray are completely nuts. So it wouldn't have mattered what they presented, the atheists already had their minds made up. So in that regard, it was a pointless endeavor on the atheist side.

  • @scarinflictor Yeah I understand where you're coming from when you say the atheist already have their mind made up & that's probably because they've already heard the same arguments from theist over & over again so they knew what to expect.

  • @klmbaby6 Yeah, that could be true as well. But you could also say kirk and ray knew what to expect from the atheist side. I'm sure both sides were ready for one another. I mean all you have to do is get on the internet and you can pretty much figure out what both sides might present. Both sides made the best cases they could, I guess that's all you can ask. But, I've always said, if you just ask God to reveal himself to you, He will do it. Turn away from your sin and ask for forgiveness.

  • @klmbaby6 So let me ask you something..Why do you think there is so much hatred and blasphemy towards Jesus? Why do you think people go out of their way to blaspheme His name? Just curious.

  • @scarinflictor Well I can't speak to what motivates other's but I can tell you from my perspective that the whole jesus stroy just never made any sense to me personally even as a young kid growing up reading the bible I could see the nonsense (snakes talking, men living whales, walking on water...etc) so you couple that with institutions telling a person they need to believe like them or they will burn in hell & that would be enough to get people pissed..esp people who like to think4 themselves.

  • @klmbaby6 I understand you there, but you also have to understand where Christians are coming from. The bible says that His people must go out and preach the gospel to all who don't know Him. They are just preaching what the bible teaches, you can't sugar coat the Word. Remember also, that once satan came to be, there was no other choice but Hell, until God sent His only son. If it wasn't for Jesus, we would all go to Hell. He came to save us from satan and hell, not send us there.

  • @scarinflictor Right...but here's the problem, your belief's are based upon a story translated by MAN from another MAN's mindset 2000 yrs ago. Back then ppl still thgt the earth was flat. Not only that but do you realize there were other gods before the christian god with the same background. Osirus, Horus, krishna, hercules..etc all were born from virgins on the Dec 25th, all had disciples & were persecuted and rose from the dead thousands of yrs before Jesus. It's pretty much the same story.

  • @klmbaby6 The bible was written by God through man by divine inspiration. Of course there were other gods. There are people that worship golden statues and men who claimed to be God. I know these things. The bible warns of such things, and tells us do not be deceived.

  • @klmbaby6 @klmbaby6 The bible was written by God through man by divine inspiration. Of course there were other gods. There are people that worship golden statues and men who claimed to be God. I know these things. The bible warns of such things, and tells us do not be deceived.

  • @klmbaby6 All are false gods and can't save you from your sin. All Jesus wants to do is love you and save you from the sin of this world. Yet, so many want to hate, mock and blaspheme Him. Jesus came to save you from hell, not send you there.

  • @scarinflictor How do you know they are/were false gods? Can you prove that with hard facts and not quotes from your bible? Again, these are gods that were known thousands of yrs BEFORE your god with the same story. Seems to me the europeans simply copy & pasted the story to apply to their god and did a good job covering up the other gods so nobody would realize they ever existed.

  • @klmbaby6 Well, I don't claim to be a scholar of mythology or gods from that era. I don't have to have proof that they don't exist. All I have to do is ask the question, where are they now? I could easily ask you for hard facts that those gods do exist and I think you would have a hard time proving that. You see, if God were able to be seen by all, there would be no such thing as faith, something Jesus taught in depth about. You have to have faith to believe.

  • @scarinflictor You're right, that is the question, "where are they now"? But because the jesus story has stood the test of time, doesn't validate anymore to me than the other god's that came before him. You can do the research just like I did and clearly see these god were known before jesus. The information is out there. I look @ faith as simply meaning belief without facts. The fact that we demand physical evidence for everything else but have to give "god" a pass doesn't make sense to me.

  • @klmbaby6 Why would he teach faith throughout the bible and then show up on earth and then there would be no reason for it. It is a faith test by God. Now, you might think I'm nuts and that's fine, but I have physical proof that Jesus does do what he says in the bible. For instance, holy laughter and being slain by the holy spirit are both in the bible. Both of these happened to me when I was about 12 years old. I've told other atheists about this, but they don't give it any thought.

  • @klmbaby6 Nor do they even try to figure out what it is. I was young and this happened to me, that was God's way of letting me know He exists. He didn't have to do that, but He did because He wanted me to have no doubt. And I have no doubt to this day.

  • "i startet researching it" ... lol if you would've reasearched it, you'd have informed you about the other religions two... hypocretic liar

  • i use to be an athiest sure thats wat every religuese person says so that can say atheism is stupid.

  • WHY, why the FUCK do we give a shit that you started going to church?? you don't need to tell us this BULLSHIT.
