OMG, I'm a legal latino immigrant and SO glad we have organizations like "you don't speak for me." Like Carmen and many others, I'm fed up with illegal immigration and I'm glad there are many Latinos that are speaking out.

Like them, I raise only one flag: the american flag, I assimilated well into american society, I learned english, I educate my children. I say it's time to put the american military at the US/Mexico border now!

Many Mexican-American citizens have been in this country since the Spanish colonization prior to the Republic of Texas, 1836,  and the Mexican-American war, 1845. As such, they've participated in the American experience as much as other Americans. Illegal immigrants have nothing in common with these citizens who've paid taxes, served in the armed forces, & have been good citizens in general. Proponants for illigal immigration do not represent these citizens! Cheers!
