@buttkick22 Philly had a good game no doubt...I gave Kelley the edge cause he controlled the bigger Schenn but you are right all three fights were close however I would give the smaller Thornton the slight edge as he seemed more in control of shelley. Either way both teams answered the bell and Philly is very similar to Boston where both teams play an honest tough game unlike teams like the Vancoward Canucks. It was a fun game to watch and I look forward to their next meeting.

@StopDiving schenn had a small cut in the middle of his foreheard from his helmet after the giant hit. Kelly had a bloody nostril from the fight. How that equals chenn losing iss beyond me. Lucic had a slight edge over sestito and the shelley fight was an absolute draw. Just a lot of whiffing by both guys. But it was a good showing for thornton since usually shelley always beats him

@buttkick22 Philly had a good game no doubt...I gave Kelley the edge cause he controlled the bigger Schenn but you are right all three fights were close however I would give the smaller Thornton the slight edge as he seemed more in control of shelley. Either way both teams answered the bell and Philly is very similar to Boston where both teams play an honest tough game unlike teams like the Vancoward Canucks. It was a fun game to watch and I look forward to their next meeting.

It was a perfect hit that really doesnt show up that much in hockey anymore. There wasnt even a need to defend the guy and fight for him. It was his fault he kept his head down.

@StopDiving Wow man how old are you? I was making a point that he weighs more. Two inches barely makes a difference. I played hockey and its more about balance and weight than height. Kampfer weighs ten pounds more than Schenn. It balances out. And yes ive seen his fights. But Im trying to say he is a minor league player than rarely plays in the nhl.

This was the Bruins 5th game in the last 7 days, and they just played the Rangers the day before and they're still out there protecting one another.

@CPD248 The Bruins second goal was on a pp after the refs penalized Jake Voracek for a phantom slewfoot. The Bruins third goal was the result of a non-call when Horton interfered with Coburn. And no, it wasn't incidental contact; Horton was 4 or 5 feet away from Coburn facing him and skated up to him. That's what I meant when I said 2 ref assisted goals. The bullshit calls you speak of were all actually penalties. Granted, there was soft reactionary calls but most of the B's penaties were due to

I don't doubt the B's can dominate a game. They're one of the best teams offensivly and defensivly(at one point I think they were rated #1 in both categories) but that doesn't necessarily mean they're better. The Habs beat the Red Wings last night 7-2. Are the Habs the better team outside of that game?

@CPD248 In hindsight it's not surprising the B's stomped on the Flyers nuts in the playoffs. The Flyers were trading leads with the Canucks for best team in the league but faultered down the stretch of the regular season. They played a grinding 7 game series with the poor man's Bruins (I bet even you know who that is) and really had nothing left.Also, Pronger was out for all but one game of the series and in that game there was a one goal difference instead of like a 3 or 4 difference.

Fuck all this bullshit, "i like how Kelly (or whomever) stuck up for his teamate after the hit". The body check takes the player out, leaving the hitting team with a short man advantage. If the receiving team fights, in turn stopping the play, the advantage cancels.
And for the most part, after a fight, the receiving team doesn't even get an instigation call.
