The problem IS that no one dies. To make Nick happy, the had to tame all sorts of things down; Jet's vague death, the supposedly horrible Boiling Rock that wasn't that bad and even Azula and Ozai don't die. This show meant to be darker; Ozai wants to wipe out the Earth Kingdom and Sozin unleashed genocide on the Air Nomads. It's nice that all the main characters live...but the villains too? They should have gone down "permanently".
they suffered though, azula squirmed like the bitch she is, and we don't even know if she lived. zuko has a violent past and he couldve taken it out on her. she was a sitting duck.
As much as even one kick to her head would have made me happy, I can almost guarantee she's alive and...uh...alive anyway. I can't say "well" since she clearly went off the deep end. You can see what the original plot wanted to use in it's past; the annihilation of the Air Nomads, the skeleton of Gyatso, Katara and Sokka's mother's death, Jet's "death", etc... People do die...in the past. The creators and writers did want to pump it up but had to hold back.
Well, frozen and chained up...and crazy. Dead? Not on screen and given the fact that Nick made sure this was kiddie friendly by North American standards, she's likely alive in the overall story. I guess the parts about Air Nomad genocide, Katara's mother getting murdered and Gyatso's skeleton, and Jet's vague death are okay since it happens off-screen/in the past. Combustion Man and that tyrannical Earth King I forgot the name of die by accident so that's fine too. Weird system.

Azula's rocketering doesnt defy Newtons 3rd law more than any other form of bending. If we are asuming that in this world bending is possible than this all makes sence. She is using her energy(for the sake of it, lets call it kinetic energy) to super heat the air, ionizing it. When the respective atoms are ionized they will repal. This will push her forward and ions backward. So for every action there is an equal and oposite reaction.
Yeah, that's what I thought exactly. xD I used the same technique a long time ago in a roleplay. And when I saw that on the show, I was like, "That was my idea!" XD Hehe. Oh well...XD
Actually no... ionizing the atoms in the air would produce an equal amount of negative AND positive charges (emphasis on the word 'charges'... there may be more positive ions than negative ones, or vice versa), therefore no repulsion. Unless of course she has metal in her shoes, attracting the negatively charged ions, creating thrust.

Lier, why are you lying? The act of heating the air would ionize the atoms by forcing them to lose electrons. Not gain. That would only be possible with nuclear fussion which arnt able to duplicate. We would have to go with fission which would cause the atoms to loose electrons. which would create a possitive charge. One able to propel against the air around it. Bam!

This show meant to be darker; Ozai wants to wipe out the Earth Kingdom and Sozin unleashed genocide on the Air Nomads. It's nice that all the main characters live...but the villains too? They should have gone down "permanently".

they suffered though, azula squirmed like the bitch she is, and we don't even know if she lived. zuko has a violent past and he couldve taken it out on her. she was a sitting duck.

As much as even one kick to her head would have made me happy, I can almost guarantee she's alive and...uh...alive anyway. I can't say "well" since she clearly went off the deep end. You can see what the original plot wanted to use in it's past; the annihilation of the Air Nomads, the skeleton of Gyatso, Katara and Sokka's mother's death, Jet's "death", etc... People do die...in the past. The creators and writers did want to pump it up but had to hold back.

Well, frozen and chained up...and crazy. Dead? Not on screen and given the fact that Nick made sure this was kiddie friendly by North American standards, she's likely alive in the overall story. I guess the parts about Air Nomad genocide, Katara's mother getting murdered and Gyatso's skeleton, and Jet's vague death are okay since it happens off-screen/in the past. Combustion Man and that tyrannical Earth King I forgot the name of die by accident so that's fine too. Weird system.

I agree. If this was on like Adult Swim Aang woudlve owned Ozai with that Fire, water earth, wind attack. Still a cool fight though.

we all know who is going to win its common sence...i cant recal one show or movie that ended with the villian winning, if im wrong please tell me, cuz i just cant think of anything where the villian has won. hmmm ? i need to think about that....anyway, it would be KICK ASS if ozai won, he is the perfect villian, he cares nothing for humanity just power and control....I LOVE IT!!

I still don't understand how a comet (which is made of ice, dust, rock, and iron) can empower the fire benders... wouldn't that make the water and earth benders more powerful first? o.O Heh heh, I can't WAIT until tomorrow!! (just stating a random observation)

Azula's rocketering doesnt defy Newtons 3rd law more than any other form of bending. If we are asuming that in this world bending is possible than this all makes sence. She is using her energy(for the sake of it, lets call it kinetic energy) to super heat the air, ionizing it. When the respective atoms are ionized they will repal. This will push her forward and ions backward. So for every action there is an equal and oposite reaction.

Actually no... ionizing the atoms in the air would produce an equal amount of negative AND positive charges (emphasis on the word 'charges'... there may be more positive ions than negative ones, or vice versa), therefore no repulsion. Unless of course she has metal in her shoes, attracting the negatively charged ions, creating thrust.
Anyways, this is a fantasy CARTOON. As the Joker would say, "Why... So... SERIOUS?"

Though I agree on the "Why so serious" when it comes too the fantasy world, I am very interested in your theory about metal shoes and ionizing air. How, pray tell, is it possible to have an equal charge, yet different amount of charge carriers, ie. ions? And why would metal induce thrust is one's shoes? Am I missing something?

Lier, why are you lying? The act of heating the air would ionize the atoms by forcing them to lose electrons. Not gain. That would only be possible with nuclear fussion which arnt able to duplicate. We would have to go with fission which would cause the atoms to loose electrons. which would create a possitive charge. One able to propel against the air around it. Bam!
