Dude, EVERY band rips off someone elses band at some point. There's no stopping it and most of the time it's not intentional.

There are essentially only 12 notes in music (including flats and sharps) and there are only so many combinations of the order in which those notes are played. In the 50 years of rock music, someone is bound to play something which someone else has done before, whether they intended to rip them off or not...
