Nice truck but I agree with the guy down there about upgrading more, my truck has a single Y to 3" exhaust stock manifold, and mine is a HELL OF A LOT louder than yours because I have a 660 cfm Edelbrock Carb going to a Highrise intake with higher compression/heads and a bigger cam. Get a semi radical Cam with a Highrise and set your idle down and that truck will make every head turn.
@HCPatton18 he dont need a high rise intake manifold or "tunnel ram" unless his cam startin 3000 or above rpm. Ya get your power mostly from cam and heads everything else is built to specs to your intake runners and cam. everything either works with the application or everything will act as restrictors. my hydraulic roller cam setup was 1000 bucks too so it aint cheap to just go out and buy a cam and if ya buy a flat tappet cam ya always run into the risk of maybe eatin the cam durin break-in.
sounds stock with just headers. Throw a cam it it and let her lope a tad bit. Power comes from good heads, and a cam to equal heads. Also intake but not so much
the truck has 14.00R20 (49.4") michelin XL with 10-12 inches of subframe 6 inch springs and 3 inch body, its now a 1 ton with dual np205 transfercases and i triple sticked it, still got the 460 but its been freshened up a bit, and the c6 has a shift kit now also with a hurst pro-matic 2, runnin 538 gears in the front and 513 in the rear ill put up another video when im done with the body and when im done with breakin in the new gears
I wish they made fender-exit headers for the FE. :( it's a pain in the ass to try and route the exhaust around the t/c with long-tube headers and a manual transmission and trying to keep as much ground clearance as possible.
@joebeckham Great news man. check out Mad Dog headers. They just put out a set of fenderwells for 73-76 F150-350 4x4s with FEs. I was stoked to find this out 2 days ago!
@BrutalMachine42 This is my buddies truck but bout 9 inches. 6" suspension 3" body. This truck dont even look like this anymore. Its sittin on 52" michelin XL's and 20 inches of lift. Fuckin bad bitch
@gmcbigrig79 Sorry to burst your bubble, but the biggest available Michelins are 33". I think you meant 32". Had to look it up since those aren't even in the ballpark of the 54" tires I've seen.
@passeduintheapex Well I stand corrected, but they're not on Michelin's site, they're not on Summit Racing, and the tire shop I use says their biggest are 33". Regardless, I would bet my life that the tires on that truck are not 52"+. Trucks with 44" tires look a heck of a lot bigger than that.
@jamesandrewjohnson hey its cool man im glad ya checked out my page though. Take a look at the '84 K20 if ya have a chance. I built a 400sbc for it bout 5 months ago. Keep checkin this page out too cause I just lifted it from 13 to 15 inches of lift(all leafspring) and Ill be postin a video of it with the new transfercase and 14 bolt full-floater rear.
holy hell that is a thing of beauty

@gmcbigrig79 What you said. Also, unless you got big bucks, 460s aren't gonna turn 6500 RPM, also "big mud trucks" should be built for torque.
