It's funny, because I am OBSESSED with both Twilight/New Moon and Rent. So when I saw this I flipped! And I agree, Without You is the perfect theme song to New Moon. Especially the end, when Roger and Mimi sing together again, that makes me think of Edward and Bella finding each other again.
have always loved the song and it fit well..it was a bad movie or anything but every single clip did the same zooming in movement and it got monotonous and slightly dizzy

I imagined the song to be more delicate, slow, and classical, like claire de lune, but yet still heart-breaking like the moment in the book was. I actually cried when I read that part, as if Bella and Edward had just disappeared from each others lives. Try to make the mood more like that.

Yeah definitely! If you read Stephenie Meyer's physical description of Bella, Emily has a lot of resemblance to how she is supposed to look.
