Hey i just flashed the rom into my desire.

Its stated that the phone gets stuck at the first splash screen for a very long time during the first boot.

So how long did yours actually stuck at the splash screen?

Can you make this work for a CDMA Desire from cellular south? I think I've done everything right but the rom will not load. After i flash the rom and rebot the phone it gets stuck on the white htc screen.

He you live in the Netherlands? Nice videos man, I like the ROM very much. Looks nice and smooth and has some good customizing. I am also very pleased about that the camera is working! Keep the improving updates coming :)

After very careful consideration and reading a number of reviews I had no option than to choose The iPhone 4.

The Desire HD seems to drink battery life like a tramp drinks special brew?!

The Desire HD is also way too big for me. If I want a small HD screen to watch movies I'll probably buy a lap top!

Putting the Desire HD in your pocket is fine, but be very careful when sitting down.

Plastic battery and sim tray covers, poor reception, shocking battery life, no lens cover.

Hey David. I have a rooted HTC Desire with RCMixHD_v0.10, unfortunately it does not have a functioning camera app, besides that everything works.. Do you know if there is any rom out there which has the same features (sense hd) and includes a functioning camera app?

@JAREDSQUALL The desire HD or Ace, has a faster processor and a standalone gpu, something the desire doesn't have, just compare a desire to a samsung galaxys S and see the difference in lets say gaming, the desire hd will own the galaxy S so i would think twice before getting a normal desire. They're good phones but compared to the offering your getting now, and 2011 coming up. You would be silly to even think about not getting the HD.

Pretty much, HTC needs to offer an option to change that bar at the bottom in to a dock. I hate the big 'Phone' button. A waste of space.

At least we have launcher pro.

@Ereco8 Download Launcher Pro with widgets, get beautiful widgets for the clock and you can root your phone to 2.2 anyway. Problem solved.

@justmixstyle I doubt it, it's probably slower due to the increase in usage with it running a rom it isn't designed for, like i said in a previous post, the hd has its own gpu and a stronger cpu. So the normal desire will probably suffer in the fps departement.

@kinghrish All htc phones have this capability?? just press home and switch to a new app, or hold home for all opened apps.

Eg: Open music player, play music, press home, open gps sat nav, go to a destination (multi tasking) My htc hero can do this lol.
