@ddwarwick i have a LR 3.9 Efi v8 and I admit it does no more tnat 5-6 km to a liter. However I have not driven more that 100K km since 2003.

A lot of my friends drive that a year.

So perhaps focus should be on actual consumption in place of focusing on the vehicle?
