Really, I don't know what everyone is complaining about. TQ was a hard act to follow. Not every game has to be 100% perfect to be worth your time. After playing the demo all the way through, the only negative point that bothered me is that the enemies respawn if you've saved and exited, although you can alt-tab to the desktop. Don't let all the extreme slagging off cloud your judgement. Try for yourself. I have played far, far, worse than this. Its not all that bad, honest.

So I actually ended up buying this game a couple weeks ago, and let me tell you - it is crap. It's a complete rip off of Titan Quest and more over it's worse than TQ.
