the daily show sucks as does comedy central.... that stuff was funny in 10th grade... only reason we still have comedy central today is because of south park.. anyway... Ron Paul 2012
Colbert is not making fun of Ron Paul. He is making fun of McCain. Dr. Paul is just making too much sense with his comments about the war and McCain looks at him like he is crazy. I put this video together to show how utterly stupid Sarah Palin is, not to insult Ron Paul. I don't agree with everything Dr. Paul says, but his comments in this debate are spot on.
She has a lot to learn still, and I don't believe she was very prepared to start being the VP in 2009. I also think it would have been very hard for Sarah Palin to back McCain. However, if she has another 4 good years to prepare, a Ron Paul and Sarah Palin ticket is something that I could possibly get excited about. Again: IF she learns from the best: Ron Paul.
I am just glad that McCain did not get in, and people would have to try defending that vote a year from now. Ron Paul 2012.
The bottom line is that Ron Paul IS cool. And Sarah Palin is just one more lieful talking head who wants the job in the government to get dollars and power, and knows shit about economy or foreign policy. Ron Paul was the only choice for you, Yankees, but you fucked up by voting both leftist candidates McCain and Obama.
It's no secret that McCain has said he wants Ron Paul supporter votes, so, of course, she's going to say something nice about Ron Paul to mislead. It's politics.
Of course, it's no secret that McCain has said he wants Ron Paul supporter votes, so, of course, she's going to say this in order to mislead. It's all politics.
She says "He's cool. He's a good guy". I agree with Ron Paul on a lot of issues which is why I posted this video. If you do a little more searching you will find more quotes where Sarah Palin comments on the commonalities between herself and Ron Paul.
If one of your friends told me you were a "Good guy" should I take that as a sign of disapproval?
I think the fact that Sarah Palin says "He's cool" speaks to a deeper approval. I am Sarah Palins age and I know what it means to say someone is "cool". It means "one of us" or someone who can be trusted.
In this clip we see Ron Paul cutting through the rhetoric and looking at the war in realistic terms. Most people don't get that, but Palin does. As we move forward, she will have to run from that type of thinking, but in this clip she says what she really thinks.
I think you're probably right about that. She has to support McCain's opinions, but in the greater picture she has alot in common with Ron Paul if you look at her record as Governor. She's very much in the libertarian wing of the Republican party.
She supported TARP, The Patriot Act and is against legalizing pot. That right there alone eliminates you from consideration of being a Libertarian minded person whatsoever.
@rmccay88 You are right, see the date on my post. I think Palin has shown herself to be a bitch and a moron. Really can't stand her or her family much.
Expressing approval is not an endorsement in politics. You're implying that she voted for or wants others to vote for Ron Paul. She never did that and you know it. But she is voting for and encouraging others to vote for John McCain. That is an endorsement, not saying this or that candidate is "good" or "cool".
So what would a better title be? Shows support for Ron Paul? Likes the way Ron Paul thinks? Really likes Ron Paul? Thinks Ron Paul is cool? You got it. Call me a maverick, I'm changing my title. Sarah Palin thinks Ron Paul is cool.
One needn't 'endorse' anything in order to be persuasive and to make an impact on another's decisions. All one needs to do to meet an objective is to 'plant a seed'...just a little comment will do. Politicians take courses in psychology.
Anyone can 'say' anything. Her 'commonalities' with Ron Paul is highly debateable, especially when it comes to 'flip-flopping', which it has been shown she has done all throughout her career...saying she would do one thing and doing another. She even quit her church in order to pursue her politics. Ron Paul sticks to his principles and beliefs. Paulin is McCain's weapon to gain the far-right Christian vote, and weapon strategies are always planned, not implemented at the spur-of-the-moment.
LOL sarah palin thinks ron paul is "cool" yet McCain seems to think Ron Paul telling it like it is, is quite "uncool"
...and she was HIS VP candidate...hmmm.. : /
Fuck, i mean I am NO fan of Obama but thank god McCain didn't win..

uh, that would make sense, except this was long before McCain picked her or she even knew who would win the Republican primary.

Wasn't that MTV interview with Palin on Super Tuesday though, surely McCain hadn't made his mind up already???

An endorsement is where you tell people that you are voting for someone and encourage others to do the same. She doesn't do that.

Look it up:
Endorsement 1. approval or sanction
If one of your friends told me you were a "Good guy" should I take that as a sign of disapproval?
