  • Krauss says that future astronomers will come to wrong conclusions due to the expansion of the universe. I think today's scientists may also be coming to wrong conclusions. He says the future of the universe is miserable, due to its expansion, but by his own words, and the title of his book, the universe came from nothing. This nothing, which is not actually nothing, still exists and will always exist, so new universes will come into existence. And I'm betting we'll be there to experience them.

  • I would agree that there are probably many universes (I would rather say many parts to the universe, and the thing we refer to as the universe being just one of those parts) containing various properties, otherwise this universe would've needed to be designed. Also, I can see no reason for there being any limits to the varieties, meaning it is likely that there are things in existence that would appear to us as godlike. It seems that all possible things exist, with no limits on what is possible.

  • I love the reaction by the believers in the fantasical and pseudo science upon hearing a REAL scientist speak. Best program and guest in quite a while. Thanks for uploading.

  • "There is no evidence for intelligent design..." - Krauss. LOL! Right, sure... just like there is "no evidence" for it in computers or watches. How long has the anthropic principle been around now? We also have known for some time DNA is a base four computer program that controls manufacturing and design of highly complex irreducible order. No experiments have even been sucessful to make all the necessary building blocks for DNA. This guy doesn't know what he is talking about...

  • 6:20 "There is no evidence for intelligent design..." - Krauss.

Logically, this statement could be false. There may be evidence for intelligent design, but we may not be able to recognize it, just as there could have been DNA evidence of murders committed in the 1800s that we could not see at the time.

  • nice to see an interview where someone's honest enough to say they don't know all the answers without resorting to filling in the gaps with supposition.

  • at least john b. knows it and is conducting his interview accordingly

  • who is this schmuck? in his first couple of statements this man made it clear he hasnt got a clue about the real world other than his blinkered ,science-book view
