  • The Earth is NOT the CENTER of the Universe

  • OFFCOURSE GOD IS INFINITE. Othewise God wouldn't be God. Why would anyone worship someone or something that is not infinite. So 1000 percent God is Infinite

  • Yes the idea that all people descended from one man and woman is about as stupid as... well all people descending from one algae cell LOL. Find something constructive to argue about people.

  • @RichAnderson114 Really, what about the entire universe, everything in it all matter being in one tiny point, we all occupied that singularity, everystar, everygalaxy in one tiny dense point, this is the essence of the big bang theory. What about all life evolving form single cell life forms, so you see the truth is encoded in the bible more than you know. Science shows, providing it's correct, cause it's all theorys, that everything could decsend from one. And one man and woman, that = 2.

  • @VarvaraBell Yes and when the Garden of Eden went haywire after Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge we are very fortunate that a lion didn't maul either Adam or Eve or where would we be now? On the same note it is a good thing that the first single celled life form didn't get too close to that heat vent and boil up before mitosis. Both ideas are unlikely at best and while I respect both, I laugh at people who argue that one is more likely than the other.

  • @RichAnderson114 Interesting, to find someone on neither side, anyway I was just using simple math, to illustrate all these things we are supposed to believe in, my point is that even if these theorys and stories are not entirely true or accurate, there is truth in them all depending on the persons truth who is looking at them.

  • @VarvaraBell There is only one truth, and sometimes we are just better off admitting that we have no clue what it is than pretending we do and beating each other up over it. Personally, I think it's far more likely that there was a major global event (I would say God) that brought on multiple living organisms at the same time, if only because of the statistical probability of survival. My evidence? None. Can I test it? Nope. And that is why it is a belief that anyone can agree or disagree with.

  • @VarvaraBell What's more. If someone else came up with something that made more sense to me I wouldn't be so brainwashed or in love with the idea I have to abandon it completely and adopt a different philosophy. I stress the word philosophy because neither abio, creationism, ID, or any other operating theory about how life began is science.

  • @RichAnderson114 Now that I remember, the fossil record shows a sundden explosion of life when before this it was nothing much at all. This would support the idea on multiple living organisms at the same time. Funny that science is only possible because consciousness exists, this leads to the measurement problem, uncertainty principle in quantum physics, the instrument used to measure, observe, effects the result. wether it is human consciousness or a pyhsical tool resulting from consciousness

  • @VarvaraBell I would venture a guess that you are agnostic? Sorry if I'm wrong, I realise guessing at that is a dangerous thing in these days. I relate most closely with Agnosticism only because they seem to be the only group with enough common sense to admit that they don't know what is unknown. I do like your point very much, as the point that the value 0 exists even though there is no evidence of such, simply because it exists in our consciousness.

  • @RichAnderson114 I'm not sure, I guess I have some characteristics of it, but I surely respect people who admit it's just not possible to know all and have all the answers. Another mathematical principle, the number of stars and galaxies times the size of the universe is a mathimatical number so high, an odd so big, That to claim we know it all and have figured it all out against those mathematics is nonsense. When we can't even fly out into it further than a fraction 0.

  • @RichAnderson114 It's like if I dropped a penny in your hand and said that's our entire universe every star, every galaxy and now look out to all that is around it and the sky above. That is a real visualization of the sheer size or lack of size of what's really going on. Zoom into matter and the solid turns into spheres and orbits again. If you were the nucleus of an atom your electron would be orbiting you 1 km out, Are we really big or atomically small?

  • @VarvaraBell "I am not an atheist. I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how." - Albert Einstein

  • @RichAnderson114 Great quote, words to take in from a great mind.

  • the bible is nothing more than a pile of bullshit.

    i have spoken.

    peace, lardo.

  • Blah blah blah god sucks blah blah blah <--- average atheist comment.

  • @klober23 im an atheist but i agree but there still right

  • What's ironic about the story of Adam and Eve, when they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil they did not have knowledge of good and evil so they could in no way have been held accountable for their wrong doings. They could not have known what they were doing was wrong so god is just a saddistic coot.

  • That's a dragonfruit. Cool name,, i know. Delicious to boot.

  • if only he had made a taller tree....

  • What movie are you using??? What a MOCKERY! Corvardus = man of SATAN

«Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.» Galatians 6:7

  • Your "God" doesn't exist. Please use your brain.

  • JonO387 You are just being a fool! How can you know that God doesn't exist..... BAKA

  • Which "God" would that be? There are so many to choose from.

  • Which god do you think I referred to in my post ??

Do you see what kind of scripture I quote from? That shall give you a clue!!!

  • Of course I realize you mean the Christian God. I was just asking that to prove my point. Every "God" is the one true god. Funny huh? The real funny part is that there is no evidence for any of them. Just people's feelings. Most Christians haven't even read the bible. It's an ancient joke that has persisted for far too long.

  • If God was offended, why didn't he just go backward in time and prevent corvardus from ever making the video.

We are talking about an infinitely powerful being who rules over all of time and space, aren't we?

  • LordCustos3 -- Yahweh will never do anything against corvardus's evil will! Yahweh cannot change history, that is not His will! If that is not His will then that does not count toward lack of omnipotence.

  • You said that Yahweh CAN'T change history. Not that he WON'T. CAN'T definitely DOES count towards lack of omnipotence.

You have just limited your own damn God.

  • «CAN'T definitely DOES count towards lack of omnipotence»

UNLESS the action described by "CAN'T" is not desired by the one incapable of the action. Just because Yahweh cannot lie (See Titus 1:2) does not mean that He is not omnipotent!

  • But it does, Cirno. If an omnipotent God found something that annoyed him, it could retroactively erase it with ease.

Corvardus' "evil will" doesn't enter into it.

    > "Yahweh cannot change history, that is not His will!"

1.) Yes he can change history. He's God. Time travel is easy for an Omnipotent God.

2.) You aren't telepathic. So you have no way, at all, of knowing what "God's will" is.

  • Yahweh will never do anything against our will.

1 - OF COURSE NOT! Just because Yahweh is omnipotent does NOT mean there is nothing He cannot do!

2 - Of COURSE I can never be telepathic! But I have the Bible, which has many details about Yahweh's will!

  • > "Yahweh is omnipotent does NOT mean there is nothing He cannot do!"

Oh really, then pray tell what does Omnipotent mean then?

On the other hand, no. Don't insult both of our intellects by making up some newfangled meaning of the word Omnipotent.

We both know what it means, so lets stick to the definition that everyone in the world used before it became inconvenient to your argument.

  • LOL..."with this in mind, motherf*ckers!" LOL..excellent commentary. Adam and Eve--the sordid affair. I would more amicable towards Christianity if god had chosen spinach as the forbidden fruit. It would have been easy to stay away from that. I like (said in Seth McFarlane voice) the creator like an awesomely sexy female robot.

  • That's my favorite anti-infinite-God argument (If he was infinite, he could exist in paradox and would have no problem making humans who are perfectly obedient and moral WITHOUT impinging on free will).
