@dabearsfan12 Believe me, getting a budgie will probably be one of the best decisions you've ever made! if you're in America they'll be about 30 dollars which is so cheap for a bundle of Joy! I'm watching my budgie sing right now :) minty is cute for a green budgie blu for a blue one maybe... Or get one first and decide on personality I advise you get a boy because girls are more vicious and can only learn 10 phrases, but boys are friendlier and can learn up to 2000 phrases :)

I've heard budgies can talk, but I've never seen it & never thought they could talk this amazingly. Very human! I just ran into this looking for talking bird vids for my conures cuz one is a talking maniac! But this is really a human-like & full sentances!!! I thought if a budgie could talk, it would be hard to tell what they're saying & just like a random word occassionally, but not like this! WOW! That must hav taken a lot of work, so kudos! =) Are budgies and parakeets the same? Looks same.

@scenethelite this kind of budgie can't talk. And yes, it's difficult to understand them. They use specific words that they can pronounce (usually not too long or complicated). Unfortunately the talking on the video is mixed with a human voice alternated with auto-tune or something like that. You can realize it from the voice pitch of the budgie... When it "talks", the voice pitch drops too much for a bird.
