Mark, I own a carpet cleaning company as well. I would like to add this service, what do you use to clean and polish, the name of the cleaner would really help? I have buffed tile with a machine so I believe I can add this with practice.

@ultrasteamdurango SLOW down with the video camera. We have your word that the floor looks good you went so fast by the scratched areas it couldn't be seen and you need to have your buffer checked, it should never jump like that unless the floor is severely buckled.
@cinepost We charge by the square foot; in our area it runs around $2/sf (about half of sanding and refinishing by reputable companies, and far far less than replacement)

How much on average should a company charge for this kind of service? Would you charge by the job or by the square foot?
