If I understand this, you're saying that children who are not taught phonics will shows symptoms of dyslexia, and then when they are taught phonics, they will learn to read and the symptoms will vanish... Flesch explained all this in 1955 (Why Johnny Can't Read)...So why do public schools continue to use methods that don't work? That's the scandal....Please see my "Dolch Words: Dumb and Dangerous."
