when i meditate and focus on that spot i get a twitching action of my muscles in that area around my eyes and forehead. is this a good thing? and i also see a blueish purple ball go in and out of focus.

The more you do the technique the less your eyes will twitch, s you learn to keep them relaxed while focusing.

Thanks! Is the pituitary and pineal considered a two part system that concertedly comprise the third eye? I'm thinking they'd be similarly comparable in the way that the rods and cones take in energy and convert the information signals to the the visual cortex for "regular sight" I had thought the pituitary was used for hormonal and neurotransmitter balancing along with the hippocampus and the pineal was the ancient eye that exists more for seeing and traveling in the greater spirit world(s).

In my experience the pineal gland is the main center, for it regulates the DNA, and the pituitary is the telescope/microscope that utilizes the DNA system for inner vision, thus the pituitary is the third eye center, which is precisely where most people think it is, right near your eyebrows (and slightly lower, but above the eyes)

The little folks who ask for our help to survive within us in the winter are not sickness... They too are our friends. :) They also help us clean our lungs out by enlisting us to cough intensely for a short time. There is no sickness or malnature, all is a radial symphony of balanced flow. And cold is the allowment of ones density to shift, once you master your density it will not shift except by your will. And sometimes cold is fun! :)

if i relax my entire body and meditate for about 10 minutes i see very complex hypnagogic imagery, like these moving massive structures and some times even more intricate things, which eventually leads into basic dreaming (unfortunately minus the lucid dream, thats still too hard). its really competely amazing, and frightening at the same time

Yea because today I was connecting with a tree at a local park and I was sitting indian style facing it with both my hands on the tree, I felt a lot of tension release from my body in a very short time, but then my right hand began to get very warm for some reason. Do you know if it was because the tree was telling me to move that hand somewhere else??? Or perhaps that hand was getting hot because of all of the energy that was beng released/absorbed?

Actually 3 weeks ago I was meditating and I was over looking the Earth and I saw 3 things that stood out, 1 was Earth was pregnant, 2,I saw people meditating over snowy surfaces and 3rd thing I saw was amazing, I saw how we are all connected, the consciousness of the Sun, open space, each planet, down to the consciouness of the air we breath..was amazing. When the pituitary gland is active, telepathy begins to occur. I generally don't like it to be active (depending what I'm doing) due to lots of images and voices coming through during meditation. Just thought I'd give a heads up for those unaware of what might happen. Rama, what advice would you give for those who wish to fine-tune the pituitary gland so filter all the things one may not wish to deal with i.e. faces of astral spirits and unknown people popping up in the mind. Peace.
