Actually the Rankings have change now the PRC is the worlds third largest economy, and second largest economy if (PPP) is taken in account, but by Per Capita income, China is a very very poor country listed 189 on the HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX and the ECONOMIC AND PER CAPITA INDEX. China will not start any such war with the US as it would not benefit any of the two countries, they are both Superpowers in my view and they have a lot to offer to the world, the US needs china and china needs the US.

If tomorrow the Taiwan government decided to sign a treaty with the PRC reconnecting it with the mainland, the USA could, and would, do nothing to stop it.
