  • I'm interested in learning a martial art and I was very interested in taijutsu but honestly how do you learn anything from this? I'm not trying to get any people attacking me saying how good it is I want actual facts of how would this training against slow non moving people giving you their arms and legs to attack train you? Real ancient ninjas were trained assassins how does this Bujinkan do any justice to that lineage?

  • EL MEJOR VIDEO DE TAIJUTSU Q VI EN MI VIDA , ES LA MEJOR EXPRECION DEL BUDO Y DEL NINPO ESA MANERA DE CONTROLAR EL CUERPO Y LA MENTE

  • nice taijutsu one

  • Domo Arigato!

This is the real deal, folks.

@othercommenters: Stop being so silly, especially if you consider yourselves martial artists. Grow up.

  • Is this how Bujinkan trains? Slow.

  • Larping!!

  • It never ceases to amaze how deluded people can become. They actually think this compliant crap works? Take off the tabi, and join a judo/bjj/wrestling/boxing gym already.

  • @popasmuerf People just don't fall on the "omg, I saw those stuffs on TV, they must be the best in the world". Because an art isn't over exploited, doesn't mean that it doesn't work, what about you try to go a some bujinkan class?

  • @Nordrian Umm..the art being "exploited" or not has absolutely nothing to do with its effectiveness. The bottom line is that the X-kans are garbage. They sit around theorizing what they think might work instead of pressure testing their techniques..and FYI I was formerly training in the Bujinkan. Like the rest of you I thought the techniques where valid...until I attempted to test my skills against a Judo whitebelt. X-kans are garbage, period.

  • @popasmuerf Then you didn't train hard enough? I know a lot of military, law enforcement personnel, security agent, legionaries, who train in the bujinkan, and found it effective on the field, I have train with those people, I have seen how effective those techniques are, that you got your ass handed doesn't mean that bujinkan is garbage, but maybe just that you weren't good at it. Because you can't bike doesn't mean that bikes don't work.

  • @Nordrian Here we go with the typical bujinkan response...you did'nt train hard...you did'nt have a good teacher...anything but the obvious is that the art is fucking garbage. The fact that law enforcement or military train in BBT means nothing. Your supposed 'evidence' that they used it is anecdotal. What BBT supporters don't have is REAL verifiable evidence that it works and works often. I wasn't good at it ? LOL. I routinely place at the Maryland and VA open..and I dont work hard enough?

  • @popasmuerf It's a fat, it worked for quite a lot of people, that I talked to, that I know well enough, it didn't work for you? so what, you think that from your experience you can generalize to the entire bujinkan? You think you are that much of a good martial artist to think that your experience can be used to set a generality? Maybe Bujinkan just wasn't for you, didn't you think about that? Or do you just consider that what doesn't work to you, doesn't work at all?

  • @Nordrian No, its not a fact. Someone telling you something works without any substantial evidence to back such a claim is anecdotal confirmation that BBT works at best. Are you willing to bet your safety on something you think works or something that has a verifiable record of working against fully resisting, skilled opponents? Look at that video again..do you really believe that realistically depicts of happens in a fight ?

  • @popasmuerf Saying that shows that you didn't get what bujinkan is trying to teach, also, I know that it works because I had situation described to me, I have talked with people who use it in real life, of course they don't go in a ring or whatever, they got better things to do, like doing their job. Yes it works against fully resisting opponents, what they teach in the dojos are concepts that then can be applied in combat. But w/e, not bothering with you anymore.

  • @Nordrian Huh? WTF are you talking about? Are you saying that Bunjinkan training does or dose not teach you how to fight?...and no...having someone 'describe' something to you does not certify that something actually happened as described. Getting in the ring has nothing to do with any of this. How bout this? Go to your local high school wrestling practice and try to apply your 'combat concepts' against them. Video tape it so we can see how badly you got your ass kicked.

  • @popasmuerf Wrestling has nothing to do with real fight situation again, and again, I don't train to compete, I know it's effective, because, yes I had ppl telling me about stuffs they did, and I have no reason to doubt them, since I know them pretty well. Also, there's no "highschool wrestling team" in france. Finally, I apply the stuffs I learn during some training, when we go a bit more freely on the action, but did you ever get to that point? I doubt it.

  • @Nordrian It has everything to do with it. Are you really so dense that you believe that the physics/mechanics of an attacker magically change to the point where only "special techniques developed specifically for street fighting" that are NEVER pressure tested are going to provide a better result than techniques that have been pressure tested via rigorous sparring and competition ? Just in case you havent figured it out yet...Jujutsu or Jutaijutsu is a form of wrestling.

  • @Nordrian They don't have a wrestling in high schools in France ? No problem....because I know that Judo is VERY popular there. If you believe in this nonsense..then go to your local Judo dojo and tell them that BBT is much better suited for real life SD/fighting than Judo, and that you are there to prove it. Please video tape it and post on Youtube so that we may all see how badly you got your ass handed to you.

  • @popasmuerf One more time, I don't do it for competition, I never said judo wasn't efficient, unlike you, I got respect for other martial arts. Second of all, I don't train to go and attack random people, if I don't do competition out of principle, what makes you think I would go and just attack someone just to prove something to you? Lacking some common sense you sure do. Finally, I am pretty confident about the fact that I am safe from getting my ass handed to me, nothing to prove there :)

  • @Nordrian Sparring != competition. Here is something for you to contemplate dumb-ass...Every wonder why Takamatsu was so good at what he did ? He sparred. He pressure tested his MA. He took part in MA competitions. BTW, there is difference between unprovoked assault and participating in a combat oriented competition you dumb fuck, so stop trying to conflate the two. In order to learn how to fight..you have to actually fight. Think about that for a while.

  • @popasmuerf Think about that: it's not because you got your ass handed back to you, that the martial art doesn't work, maybe you're just a poor fighter, ever considered that? The over use of insults tells me that you are just some angry kid on the internet trying to make a cyber name, sorry, wont lose time arguing with a kid.

  • @Nordrian Yeah, I was a poor fighter, because i was trying to use Bujinkan techniques. Funny how within my first two weeks of Judo I was able to mop the floor with my former Bujinkan Dan grade training partners, and within a few more years regularly qualifying for US Judo Nationals. See how that worked? I was garbage(as likely are you) when training in the Buj but got MUCH better training in Judo and Boxing. Thank you for proving my point.

  • @Nordrian ...and the reason why I call you dumb-ass is because only an idiot or willfully ignorant individual who has been paying attention to combat arts for the last 18 years could claim that wrestling is not a recognized range of fighting and an essential skill set...and you basically made that claim.

  • @popasmuerf No, if your ability to throw pointless insults equalled your reading skills, it would be good for you, I have respect for every martial art, just consider the Buj to be suiting me better. Second of all, I can understand you failed with the kind of spirit you are on. Third of all, you assume that I am garbage, you don't know me, never saw me, don't even know how long I trained nor my background, shows how stupid you are. FYI, Hatsumi is 4th dan Judo, and forgot his aikido grade.

  • @Nordrian Not pointless. they serve a purpose in that they highlight that you are indeed an idiot for being willfully stupid. Not once have you addressed any of the points I made with a reasonable rebuttal, but instead you make irrelevant comments about my "spirit". No, I don't personally know you, but this stupidity you display is the Hallmark of those who practice th Buj, in addition to having very poor fighting skills. BTW, who cares if Hatsumi has a Judo BB. You still cant fight.

  • @popasmuerf Lol, again you don't know, again you make assumption, not once have you brought a decent argument, all you said was "I practiced, I got my ass kicked, so buj sucks". Again you insult me, proves that you're only a kid trying to make a name on the net. I make comments about your spirit because it is part of martial arts too. I don't display any stupidity, I bring arguments, I give my opinion, but you come and insult, and assume things, seriously, grow up.

  • @popasmuerf And finally, for the "you still can't fight", this is one of the most stupid thing I ever read, you never saw me, trained with me, you don't know my background, and yet you come with that, well, I say you can't fight either. As for Hatsumi practicing judo and giving up for Ninpo, it proves that he found ninpo to be a pretty efficient martial art.

  • @popasmuerf You should read better, and give up on the arrogant and ignorant attitude, it's people like you who ruin the martial art world, coming in with some shitty spirit and arrogant attitude, considering that your experience is worth more than the one of others.

  • @Nordrian Your plenty confidant you would'nt get your ass handed to you? Using Bujinkan methods of training, you should'nt be.

  • @popasmuerf If someone feels like attacking me to test me, well he can come, I am not going to just attack and provoke people, I have nothing to prove to anyone, I don't lack self confidence to have to go and prove myself :) You don't seem to be in that same configuration. Finally, and this will be my last comment, arrogant ppl like you are boring, thinking that because you got your ass kicked means the art is responsible, maybe you just failed?

  • Awesome video!! Is there a way I can get the video`s u record?? Estelle is the best women I`ve ever seen in the bujinkan..She floats around in the space like a leaf gets blow by the wind...She`s awesome!!

  • @computron808 You can get access to more video here: bjkninja.com/membership-registration/upgrade-page/

  • c de la fraude votre affaire

  • Thanks for sharing this video, very good training and flowing vid. I am thinking of starting myself in these arts so im looking at vids and then taking a look at a Dojo and see whats lke in person.

Whats the music played by way? i like it

  • goodness me i hope you dont ever have to use this against a RESISTING opponent....

  • @liamemac goodness me i hope you have tried any bujinkan technique, if not your comment is ABSOLUTELY pointless

  • This is for all the girls out there, who dont want guys to grab them ^_^

  • Which Dan do they have? Very amazing :) I do Taijutsu for 7 moth now. I'm not very good, but that needs a lot of time anyway. Greetings from Bujinkan Dojo Hannover in Germany :)

  • @HelegE3000 what kyu are you?

  • @Kyle17880000

    9th Kyu

  • It's beautiful. Nice way to do Kukan. Too much and too many movements. It's starting to look like Aikido and a dance. The Tori is only as good as what the Uke can give. At their level, the Uke should have been truly attacking instead of a continuous pause here and there. It's truly a bad habit to get yourself into..especially for both. It's dangerous.

  • This is coler then Aikido.

  • @chrstilen5 ...it is very similar. Thanks for watching!

  • @shinobiryukenden LOL criss de voleur

  • Great flow and undertanding of uke and tori partnership....many people dont understand than the concepts in martial arts are bigger than the technics used to explain it....thas why is very important to see beyond....

    Thanks for sharing this work!

  • @artrauco Thanks for your comment. Yes you are so correct. One of the instructors in this video talked about the uke and tori relationship also. When the uke initiates the attack he must have a Tori mindset, until that last moment when the Tori defends, and then becomes an uke for the rest of the technique.

  • amazing

  • Beautiful!!!

  • Great flow, excellent technique!

  • HOly cow this was an intense video. Wow

  • very very good

  • that was awesome! looks a lot like systema 5 stars

  • @NAMELESSWARRi0R Thanks! Yeah very similar flowing movement. I think the difference is in the footwork mostly. Hey also check out the youtube bjkninja channel as I move these videos over there.

  • Very nice stuffs, I hope some day I will have this level of skill, training hard, the only path to success :p

  • Nice move.

  • Ok riiiight...

    That was sooo not impressive..

Sry, i respect your enthusiasm, but thats not Ninjutsu, thats some lazy, "will-get-yourselfe-killed-in-real-situatuations" eurythmy clothed in black.

  • Anything on video will not seem impressive, unless you are uke you will never understand the feeling. There are many military and law enforcement personnel training in this martial art. They have used this training is real life situations, so I would take their word for it over yours. Not being impressive is part of the kyojutsu, so its better that you can not see or feel what is actually happening.

  • @shinobiryukenden

Perhaps you should know that i am a Ninjutsu too. I know how it feels, and i know how to train, but i also know when i see fake masters.

Dont sell your art as ninjutsu.

  • Manolo is far from a fake master. If you ever meet him at a taikai or Japan please train with him.He has very good and solid taijutsu.

  • No Questions, hes better as the woman, but i still dont like hes stances. no foot controll, no propper angles, its not correct.

But perhaps he really isnt that bad. I just didnt like how everybody says, oh wow, this is so awesome and stuff like that, you know`?

  • what style do you do MadMorle?

  • I here what your saying madmorie. I train bujinkan and these particular moves are not really moves for combative situations but more of a study of angles. It is good to practice in both forms of training but the student must know the differences of whats effective.

  • @23mavcat

I dont see any good angle movements or whatever its called in english.

And the foot-controll sems to be missing completly.

Further, they both often seem to be in kuzushi.

  • thats so cool and i love your guys dojo

  • one of your bujinkan's training partners salute you.

this video is fantastic as is the fact that you're showing real ninjutsu, no like others that theaches some kind of modified taekwon-do and make money with that in the name of Ninjutsu.

good luck, maybe our roads cross each other some day.

    bye

  • i think this teaches body motion, momentum, and balance, the core of any martial art/combat method, even if playfully executed as in this video.

  • Nice.

  • Yeah, I agree. We had Shihan Manolo visit us last weekend, it was great to see him again.

  • sick of juppo sesho ruining ninjutsu

  • Ruining? Interesting...

  • Hmmm not pragmatic or 'real time' training.. more of a game or playful arty stuff.

  • Nice!

  • Fascinating!

  • Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the video. Peace.

  • She's amazing!

  • excellent work !!!!!!

  • do you think this is a good randori? try to make this randori with a sambo or judoka player

  • this is not randori... they are showing different techs

  • Awesome taijutsu!

  • As always, a joy to see the two of you "play" :-). You make it look so simple, when we all know how hard it really is. Great video!

  • im only 8 kyu so i cant learn much but its buthiful to see something like that.

    lp Alan slovenia

  • nice real nice randori

  • Thanks for your comment, and I agree! I learned alot from Estelle and Manolo, and they are great people.

  • great training video i enjoyed watching estelle, few kunoichis move like her.

    where are they from?

  • Originally from France, but now in Montreal, Canada.

  • nice realy nice randori

  • this is a sad example of why this martial art doesn't work anymore, because people don't train properly with resistance and just fall over when someone touches them.

  • There is a world of difference between Jissen Gata (real fighting) and Kata/ Waza. My teacher Chris Carbonaro also points out that as uke we need to provide proper resistance, and be grounded. I agree that in many martial arts that sometimes the uke "gives in" too easily. I can say that these teachers in the video are excellent Martial Artists with great fighting skill. This video was just showing kata and waza to express a feeling. Thanks for the comment and pointing out an important issue.

  • Yes. That is why many shihan pick uke that make their taijutsu look better than it really is.

I like reality checks. They keep people alive (at least the good guys).

  • excellent video

  • awsome video, nice flow of the tecniques, congrats

  • What are the name of the strange movement that start at 3:25?

  • This was just a freestyle randori to demonstrate escaping, reversal, and counters. Until eventually the Tori ends the exchange.

  • tkx

  • Great job on the editing. I had alot of fun at the DKMS review, Manolo and Estelle were awesome!!

  • Awesome video!

  • Cool.

I heard the main technique worked on at DKMS this year was "Hon Ni Iri". Works well with business cards.
