  • Need a got boilo shirt plz

  • The recipe I used had 4 Queens whiskey, and the fruit wasn't juiced, it was quartered. And the alcohol was added at the end, not cooked with the rest. I know there are as many boilo recipes as there are people that make it though. It kicked my ass, for sure! Enjoy your boilo!

  • bethlehem pa represented ! boilo every christmas at pappy's house

  • suppose to add the booze after it boils. Plus ginger ale to is a nice touch

  • The only problem with this receipt is the Alcohol boils off prior to it boiling.

You can leave it sit for a few months sealed instead of boiling.

I let my boilo cure for 11 months.

I use whole oranges quartered no juice.

Then eat the orange at the end of the year.

Keeping the 200 proof and 100% alcohol.

  • Ya see this is what separates the men from the boys and the women from the girls.

While most people in the country are raising their their kids to watch Sesame Street, how to pick out a better wardrobe, or maybe even get their SAT scores up the people of Schuylkill County are teaching their kids the rights-of-passage on how to become adults...MAKING BOILO!

They don't raise no wussies in the Coal Regions.

    You Gotta Love It!

  • When I lived in Schuylkill County, before we left for the military, I saw people falling off bar stools drinking this stuff.

This booze has put many a man (and woman) under the damn table.

This stuff could be a substitute for jet fuel, nitro glycerin, or if you want to know how you will feel the next day if you drink too much of it just put a stick of dynamite up your ass and light it.

  • There is a drink from Poland called Krupnik. You heat honey, add some cinnamon then add vodka and drink it when it is warm. Do not boil off the alcohol. It will put you to sleep after you drink it.

  • Only in the good old coal region... (570)

  • be careful with pure alcohol around open flame

  • I never know how it make it. Good work on the video.

  • tried this out, it's good

Since the temp was only 10 here when we made it, it was a good thing to sip on.

    Thanks

  • it was grain alcohol :-D

  • I never even heard of this....Did the clear stuff in the beginning of the film water or grain alcohol. Or did the boiling of the mixture turn into alcohol....?
