  • these guys are amazing. in every song they have a certain sound that they do that mixes in a song combined with rock pop and culture or just a cultural song itself. Hook Line Sinker. :)

  • @WillFielder78 Yeah, they're no novelty act. These guys are for real - by any standard at all.

  • @MB7world That's what i like about their music. It's a real piece of artistic music that they can change into many different styles and still have their flavor in the mix. :)

  • @WillFielder78 They got the traditional chops as musicians, but have opened a whole new world of music to their traditional instrument.

They're not like the Hippie sitar players of the 60s, who tried to integrate that instrument into pop music before they got any good at playing it. The Bros can PLAY! And they're not like Pavarotti, dabbling in pop music and making a fool of himself. These guys are totally at home in pop. They bridge the two worlds.in a way that both worlds can respect.

  • @MB7world Very true and very respectable. :)

  • I'll send you a private message with the info. I find out on the song. You can decide if you want to add it to the description then.

  • Great song.

  • @dreamofasiagirl I wish that I could find more specific information on it. All I understand is that it is a well-known favorite folk song in Japan.

  • @MB7world I have many friends in Japan, so I will ask one of them. I'll let you know if he has any news.

  • Snow in Japan? I've never studied the Japanese weather conditions! I have to correct myself immediately I have never studies anything :-))

But this reminds me that I need to prepare for the devastating winter that's coming our way in the next weeks :-))

    Love the song btw!

  • @TheFutureClassics All I know about these traditional tunes is that they come from a region of Japan that has bad weather. : )

Joy's comment on this photo is that she moved from Canada to Japan to get away from the snow! : D

  • @MB7world Okay, so my intuition was right? No snow in Japan!!

  • @TheFutureClassics O no! Plenty of snow in Japan! - to Joy's bewilderment.

Remember - it's home to the snow monkeys! 8 D
