You don't have to be a buddhist to start shaolin kung fu, sure some of the monks study zenbuddism, but kung fu is about skill (physical and mental) that you gain from training very hard. I'm not a christian myself but in my opinion nobody should be restricted in starting kung fu, unless someone has bad intentions with it...

@choyleefutkid1 They only cut their hair because they're buddhist monks. In buddhism your hair is considered material, so they cut it to grow further in their religion. It has nothing to do with kung fu (except that nobody can grab your hair!:D)
