Man all I see on Tv these days is violence and women who are supposedly beautiful. I want star trek back because it was a vision of humanity we all strived to achieve. What will we become without visions of hope for our future. I dare to dream that big to see a future like that for all of us, in the meantime, I want to know what happened in their universe till the day we all decide to make it "our" universe. BRING IT BACK!

Funny how George Takei also bristled about Walter Koenig joining the show? So I'd say it was more to do with actor's insecurities than ego! Where's the wisedom with age..? And why is it that we're also getting more grown up presenters acting like 10 years olds? There's fun and then there's just being pathetic and facile! Nothing really witty or incisive to say. Yet another 'look at me' Comedian! 'Ain't I funny running around Hollywood with my trousers half hanging down. ' Yeah right..!

Yeah, I can understand me sounding like an old killjoy. I suppose I would be a bit kiddie about the stars as well, but I'd also be a bit more measured and mature. So my argument stands: Most comedians these days just think they are funny without actually being witty, clever or indeed funny. It's all this superficiality which is also adding to destroying the moral compass of society. And no I'm not religious nor puritanical. Just worried....
